  1. Past hour
  2. He apparently can't beat out the jagger part-time starter at Troy. It starts and ends there for me. Last year people calling to bench Quinn were dreaming on the Manning name. Now you have a part-time QB from a below .500 sunbelt team waiting in the wings. And a failed Ryan Williams package deal who's unreadiness is the reason we had to bring in the Troy guy. Good luck with all that.
  3. Atmosphere be damned. Some events are just too unpleasant in person and more enjoyable spectated from home. Austrian and Hungarian GP were like that for me. Not seeing shit like that again unless its from a box.
  4. That’s exactly what we said last night. The LB’s have improved too.
  5. Bub, arch was running for his life just about every time he got the ball. I think it's be jittery and rushing my mechanics/throws too if I was getting absolutely pummeled every time I had the ball for more than .05 seconds.
  6. Addendum to all this. Arch appears to be more composed under pressure than Quinn. He has less tendency to get happy feet and self-sack. That said, what he does with that composure is not good. Our number one objection to Ewers was the happy feet/self sack. Number two was the long ball. In limited work behind a better OL, Arch seemed to offer solutions to those problems. But with further exposure, and a significantly worse OL, it turns out he's just not very good at throwing the ball.

  8. Ugly win > Hard fought loss
  9. Yeah, there does seem to be some kind of bizarre parity at work. And you may be right in that more than individual talents moving around, it's roster disruption.
  10. It’s been a sark thing since he got to Texas.
  11. Soros was a big D donor, mostly in past years. One cause he was particularly identified with was "defend the police"/progressive prosecutors. The quiet part is that he's a Hungarian Jew. But, as a megadonor, he's a piker compared to various right wing contributors.
  12. WTF We won today on the road in a night game. I recommend adjusting your expectations after 2 losses so that you can enjoy your teams wins \m/

  14. They're good yeah. Seems like maybe took a step back on the DL, maybe a bit improved in the secondary.
  15. Love that song.
  16. This season shows Texas has too many β€œinsiders” who feed everyone what they want to hear so they maintain access to the program. i mean this has been going on since Mack but still…
  17. It’s tough to win with the worst offensive line and QB in the league.
  18. And project. They also do that.
  19. Whether last years or this years is better is really not the important point. What’s important is that Texas is wasting an extremely good defense.
  20. Have to beat Georgia , it is time to put them out of the playoff payback time
  21. This season was one giant, unfounded ASSumption.
  22. I think there was broad belief Arch would be much better throwing downfield than Quinn was, so it was assumed he'd have no issues throwing the short or intermediate routes. Plus, he'd add a lot more ability to make plays with his legs. Some of those pluses were seen in spot duty, but not as a starter. I guess another way of looking at it is, how would Quinn look standing behind this OL and without Golden, Bijan, Worthy, Helm, Sanders or Blue to throw to? We haven't seamlessly reloaded our weaponry, that's for sure.
