  1. Past hour
  2. That performance yesterday was basically another Simms against Colorado. Except at home against UTEP and they dropped 2-3 more INTs.
  3. Yeah, the Quinn Ewers sucked at Texas argument is odd.
  4. You’re a very good friend. I struggle with the DP all the time, it’s hard for me to accept that putting someone to death is the answer. But I think the DP is a good bargaining chip to get people to plead guilty. Most people like Kohberger and this assassin don’t want to actually die, they are fucking cowards and would shit their pants. I’ve said that the DP was tailor made for someone like Bryan Kohberger. If he doesn’t deserve to die with pain and fear and terror than damn…because he does but I guess I’m softening as I grow older. I just don’t think putting people to death fixes anything other than an eye for eye sort of justice type thing. So while I respect in particular the rights of the victims families —I personally have changed my mind as it applies to most murder cases. Except I do think it is warranted when a convicted murderer continues to be a threat behind bars. I personally would prefer to use the considerable amount of money that goes into death penalty cases and appeals and apply those resources towards stopping the next killer and trying to prevent the rise of more like him. But that’s just me.
  5. The main culprit is the coaching staff. Any discussion other wise is simply a red herring.
  6. and pretty much zero pressure.
  7. Hotel Paso Del Norte is historic, nice and near your event. Marriott property if that matters to you.
  8. The problem is he’s getting worse with more reps.
  9. Does someone else post for you in Cloak Room? I always like your posts there. Quinn didn’t suck. Fans who harassed Chris Simms, insult our players who read Surly Horns and make unsubstantiated rumors about our current QB (not saying you do that but others are already doing it) are the ones who suck.
  10. I will take "Ewers awful" for 500 Alex. 3-0 and headed back to the playoffs.
  11. The calls for the backup to come in for Manning are funny. sark will sacrifice this season, barring some Simms Colorado collapse. It is all on Manning to get better or become Sam Ehlinger and see if we can ball control and D our way to some wins. we cant score TD's even when the D gives us the ball in plus territory.
  12. Tough but i would sit Brown. Philly D being the tie breaker Pacheco home Philly Henderson at Miami Judkins at Bal (just announced starting) Pick 2
  13. I believe that is meant deeply-seeded with all intensive purposes.
  14. The games last year could be explained by having better offensive personnel around him.
  15. I swear every time Arch comes into the game, he is doing shit with his rotator cuffs. Is he just super stiff and he's constantly having to stretch them out. Could that be part of why he grimaces when he throws or side arms passes?
  16. We have a championship caliber defense. Special teams are definitely improved. Offense is completely lost. I agree with the take that you can’t let this entire team suffer because the pre-anointed QB is lost. Who cares why!! I’ve NEVER been a “back-up QB” guy. But this is about the entire team-or it should be - and not just one player. You can see the entire offense’s body language is deflated and defeated. No excitement. No juice. For obvious reasons. You gotta make a change. Now. Not for the FL game - that’s too late and again, unfair to the rest of the team. We should be in “whatever it takes to win” mode. Sucks for Sark because WR are open. But that’s why he gets paid millions of dollars- make the tough call. But again, with that defense, all we need is a game manager at QB. You can’t tell me one of the backups can’t at least manage the game better. If not, the season is lost anyway.
  17. Remember how horrible Wegman was last year for aggy? He even threw a pick against New Mexico State when he came in late junk time. He's doing well now, did well before. That's why I don't just write off Arch as being the only problem. He certainly is still raw. But I think there are a lot of working parts in that offense that aren't working together well.
  18. We agree it's not number 1. I modified my take above you quote but 2 and 3 combined are clearly head and offensive coaching issues that we saw happen under Ewers too.
  19. Maybe he's just not that good.
  20. Dang. Massive typo. "... thoughtful critiques that anyone could grasp." Apologies.
  21. Grasping at straws here, but did Arch attempt some kind of Tiger Woods-ish mechanics overhaul in the offseason? And he's struggling through it now? I don't know, nothing makes sense.
  22. It's not #1. We saw him play really well against similar shitty opponents last year in both the Mississippi State and Louisiana Monroe games. So what caused the drop off from then to now? It's not just Sark. If Sark keeps going to him and Arch plays like this then yes I'll join you on your crusade that Sark is a moron.
  23. To me it’s as simple as he is now QB1. He doesn’t have the luxury of being a backup anymore. This is his team. This is his season to prove he deserves to be worthy of expectations. He has to find a balance for dealing with his internal expectations coach and team expectations, and figure out how to play loose like he did last year.
