  1. Past hour
  2. As bad as Wisner was (and the numbers say he was pretty bad), a decent back would have popped SEVERAL HUGE runs this year for TDs where WisneR got ran down instead. Isaac Brown (from Louisville) is a modern Reggie Bush averaging 8.8 YPC in the ACC. Give me a back like him and a back like Baugh or Caleb Hawkins and call it a fuckin day (at RB). Those two would change our offense in a GREAT way.
  3. Nah bro, go to the 9.95 roster thread that’s a fucking shit show, the 9.95 coaching staff thread is a close second. It’s all Wisner and Flood talk for pages and pages and pages. The number of posts you can count on both threads that have anything unique for valuable to add to a discussion wouldn’t get you to 5. It’s like the offseason fucked your wife and took away all your hobbies on the same day.
  4. Has Tennessee been on offense after the first drive? Every time I look at the screen Illinois is driving (and committing false starts).
  5. Who gives a fuck about who sark hires and fires, surly will hate any and all moves made. New players and more experience players will make coaches smart all of a sudden. Older team will make a difference next year.
  6. Downtown Austin is amazing now compared to what it was 10 years ago, let alone when I moved here in the 80s.
  7. It's hard to figure out this year but usually Winter Park is reliable. CB has generally been amazing around spring break and is a great mountain. My favorite. Hoping January really ramps up with snow. NM definitely hurting this year. Friends posted pictures from a week ago and I think it was basically the white stripe of death.
  8. You either lock your client in on the deal or you don't, hes rolling the dice now and having to go shop the outside market.
  9. I agree. He’s got one of the most influential voices in the sport as HC at Texas. If we want change he’s a guy that can influence change. making comments like these don’t mean he’s not preparing for the game or the portal.
  10. Not sure if that means Terry is fucking things up or if Simon is fucking things up…
  11. I have argued before on this board that America’s Puritan origins are a thick veneer over a more relaxed English common sense. This is revealed over and over and constantly so in a tendency of the elite class to talk about human failings, foibles, and sufferings basically in terms of Original Sin or the Unconditional Election of the Saints; and a constitutional horror of admitting that you are doing things simply because they work and not because of firm and unfailing moral conviction. And a pretty dualistic view of everything. One did not need to announce that being fat is beautiful and maybe healthy even in order to course correct from harmful beauty standards and slenderness as a moral virtue. And yet we did.
  12. I like the plethora of IOL options that seem to be hitting the portal from small schools where they are NFL caliber size wise and stat's wise, but have not been up against elite competition at their smaller school. The start here for a year sell for Texas should work with at least one or two of these IOL.
  13. Gonna be some real shitty manhattans served where you sit now.
  14. Refs wait five minutes to call the play dead and give a terrible penalty on a basic tackle.
  15. I'm curious why it's the CIA all of a sudden, and not the USN or other DOD military, making these strikes. I have thought all along that it would be CIA doing these things because they're used to being lawless. And outside the military chain of command.

  19. The old bowls were fairly stale. Until Kansas made the Orange Bowl. Talk about collaboration!
