  1. Past hour
  2. Anniversary Saw this a couple days ago on PPV because I had a voucher that was about to expire. Set in present-day/near-future, dystopian, political thriller with Diane Lane and Kyle Chandler (whose character's last name is even Taylor!!). I really enjoyed it.
  3. People are actually throwing around $5m or so for Soresby? the QB options must be ass.
  4. That ain’t the only thing Belichek be gettin’.
  5. Well, he certainly qualifies as talented and from a wealthy family. Arch may be 1 of 1 as far as being paid for national advertising campaigns before he takes a college snap.

  7. Parachute guy hopped up fine after a minute to collect himself. I was right there when it happened - scary shit.
  8. Bobby ended the live stream saying he was hearing info that was contradictory to some reporting and needed to end it. Wonder what that means? I think that was the point of his comment as Bell is the son of an athlete with plenty of money. Saying it is a good strategy and we need to stick to it
  9. The netflix documentary Cover-Up about Seymour Hersh is pretty instructive about how journalists should be, and how we all should feel about the lies,, but it certainly shows the cost of being that way.
  10. I have no idea what went on behind the scenes to precipitate his leaving. Justifiable . . . explainable . . . understandable, whatever it turns out to be, I think we're going to miss him. But I do understand that when it comes to NIL, we've got several loaves of bread and there's just so much peanut butter.
  11. for sure, almost 100% of my miles will be peloton miles. I understand it's not the same thing exactly but we're not doing science here
  12. The lesson here is Texas should continue to target insanely talented high school QBs who come from wealthy families and are already famous enough to sign actual NIL marketing deals with real companies worth millions of dollars. It really simplifies the post-season renegotiation process.
  13. it certainly is dangerous. we've gone past "there's too much shit on the wall to tell what the truth is" to now "i just don't care", at least thats how I assume many of us feel. And that is from the exhaustion of pointing out the obv devils and not making a dent in anyone's viewpoints. The society as a whole is sick to its core. Critical thinking is long dead, we are now at critical exhaustion IMO, at least I know I am.
  14. And look at that! The play right after the Wingo play is Cam Williams being bull-rushed back into the QB for a sack. Couldn't have scripted it better if I tried. Meanwhile soon to be 1st round tackle Trevor Gooseby is sitting on the bench.
  15. huh? Looks like they are planning on revamping the OL. They are saying that they are looking for a stud RT and will move Baker inside. That doesn’t sound like a coach that is doing jack shit on OL. Same coach that has had every tackle he has coached drafted and will have another top 15 draft pick on Goosby. This year sucked to start but it’s looking like they are going to load up on OL. Bobby keeps repeating himself that Texas is going to spend a lot of money and they are not being “penny wise”. I’ve never seen Bobby talk like this. He either knows which players are coming or has been told how much they are going to spend and is giddy about it.
  16. How's that parachute guy? That looked bad. I see Rice is 5-7. That looks bad. Why don't they just come clean and call it the "Defense Contractor Bowl?"
  17. There was a lot of discussion earlier in the year about losing some of our young quality WR bench riders to the portal over in $9.95. Kids want to play. And they want to make bank if they can. I cannot fault a kid on either. And if that means a move, and a raise then that makes sense for Livingstone. He has has some clutch plays for us for sure, he has had some costly drops as well. Two sides of the same coin. The problem is the same one CJ Baxter and Wisner had, looking to next year where do they fit in the competition at Texas? And if you want a big raise, usually you have to change jobs. That's true in life, and the NIL. I guess the only thing I would be really curious about is how the talk with Arch went down? Assuming there was one.
  18. Party of fucking weirdos.
  19. We're trying to win the Daytona 500 Surly posters: "But my Altima gets great gas mileage and they are offering a much better interest rate"
