  1. Also, if you really don’t want controversy or attention, why be the one player that opts out instead of being 1 of the 10,000+ that have opted in? No one would’ve batted an eye
  2. I’m changing his name to Arch Mañanas the second I buy the game.
  3. Unpopular opinion, but to me dynasty is WAY more fun in years 4 & onward when your team is all CPU generated recruits or ones you created. I never cared or even wanted to play with “real” players.
  4. I could actually touch 93 with my slider. And everyone in school liked me.
  5. I mean in high school I was pumping 95mph+ over the heart of the plate 3 straight pitches and daring fuckers to hit it. But you do you.
  6. How hard is it to be a baseball manager beyond high school anyway? Everyone (should) know all the fundamentals beyond that level and works with specific coaches to tweak their game. I mean all you’re doing is putting together lineups and depth charts, I could do that and lead a winning team. I guess the only different animal is recruiting in the college game
  7. In the interest of transparency they actually beat Oregon on a field goal as time expired, 22-19. In fairness to Cam he had almost no talent on offense around him though.
  8. I’ve posted this already: Making it to Omaha = Great season. Winning the title is just icing on the cake of a great season. Super regionals = very good season Regionals = decent to good season. miss the playoffs = lol get fucked you did terrible.
  9. Definitely not the thread for specifics but you might be a fan of pretty much all the politicians and political pages he follows on Instagram. He also had some political tweets back in the day that show some of his views, or at least what they were at the time. Regardless, he doesn’t strike me as a particularly political person. I wonder if he’s ever even voted. The idea that he’s starting a PAC soon or whatever is laughably stupid.
  10. Bullshit stat. There’s no MLB pitcher ever that is officially credited with a .400 batting average for a season. So it was someone that did it in a handful of at bats.
  11. I watched a lot of him while he was at Michigan. He would routinely throw absolute missiles at blanketed receivers 8 yards away from him. Tons of incompletions but would rarely get picked off because he threw it too hard for anyone to catch. He’s also pretty damn fast when he runs. He’s a great athlete with good measurable so he’ll get taken early, don’t know that he has the other tools needed to be a great QB.
  12. Making a career out of handing the ball off or throwing swing passes to Marshall Faulk gives him unimaginable insight into what makes a good NFL QB that we just can’t have.
  13. Seeing them play the MTY Borregos or UANL Tigres would be pretty cool and draw a big crowd. Fun facts about ONEFA: there’s like 7 or 8 teams called “Borregos Salvajes” because Monterrey Tech uses that mascot for all their campuses in the different cities. Super stupid. But the dominant one is the team at the OG campus in Monterrey. And today I learned that Arkansas State for some reason has a campus in Querétaro, and they have a football team there also called the Red Wolves.
  14. I never agree with you but you’re 100% spot on here. (Csb) I had a friend murdered in 2016 by a 17 year old with a stolen handgun, a weapon he had no right to have for multiple reasons. We all sleep easier at night knowing the killer wasn’t an illegal immigrant on top of that.
  15. Cam did it with a lot less talent around him than Vince had, and against a tougher schedule. Vince made it look a lot easier. If I had to pick one in their prime to win me a college game I’m not sure who I’d pick.
  16. Cam = 4327 total yards, 51 total TDs (1 receiving) Vince = 4086 total yards, 38 total TDs
  17. Uhh… did you not watch college football in 2010? Cam was fucking unstoppable. His stats that year are ridiculous and dwarf Vince’s best year. Vince had him (barely) beat only in passing yards.
  18. The Toros were never going to make it sadly. Soccer really isn’t that popular down there so attendance suffered, and the soccer fans that are there mostly just follow the big clubs.
  19. Yeah but it’s harder to track at that level, and I don’t even know if that’s against the rules. Also “90%” was really 78%. 18 out of 80 players being high school transfers seems like a significant amount to me, but realistically most large high school football teams probably have similar numbers
  20. Not much UIL could do I guess. North Shore coach mentioned that about 90% of the players in his football program attended a GPISD middle school and that this was an “isolated incident”.
  21. It’s also confirmed they’ll be playing some kind of practice schedule this fall
  22. Got themselves their own stadium now, just 4 miles from campus.
  23. Fwiw, the age of consent in Texas is 17. That’s not a crime. If he got her drunk first it would be though, regardless of age.
