  1. Played it when horns played against usc out there which was right after Walker Cup and they had the rough grown. It was hard as shit that day and #2 might be the hardest hole on the course
  2. There are four rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body; and never argue with a guy that has over 700 of his posts complaining about Elon Musk. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
  3. what is the point of doing that search unless you're going to dunk on those smooth brained folks? I'd love to reread some of the greatest hits
  4. I don't understand any of this. Who cares? The guy was a piece of shit murderer. Does this Greg nerd have a problem with the murderer being mexican nazi because he feels like it is somehow connected to him? Why does it matter when or where he posted and on what social media account?
  5. I was there but was not moderating.
  6. Hmm, guess we were at the same breakfast
  7. what's the saying, history doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes. Not quite the same as 2008 but investor psychology is all going back to that period. We are in the FAFO phase of a decade of zero interest rate policy. Depositors are going to pull cash and put it into various not bank required products that are 'safe'. Yields are being pushed down across the board due to both fear of growth and capital flows. Regulation would not have stopped this mess from showing up. This is poor risk management at banks combined with a Fed driven balance sheet nuke and severe capital control issues by VCs and their underlying companies. I'm aware of a company that had $20mm in deposit at SVB along with a very small loan line. They were required, as part of their loan covenants, to keep the cash on deposit at the bank. Could not do anything else with it.
  8. So you don’t know and can’t articulate why. “Changing the threshold from 50b to 250b” isn’t an answer either.
  9. What Dodd frank regulations were rolled back and how would they have helped stop the collapse of svb?
  10. For me? At least 1 more after this one (if this even counts)
  11. don't know what is standard but if she specifically got knocked up in order to hopefully influence the judge on sentencing then fuck her. tell that dbag she married to have fun being a single dad and send her ass to the clink.
  12. could you give me a bit more detail on the "permian goes terminal"? Does that mean you think PXD/OXY/EOG should be avoided at this time?
  13. How many times have you had the damn thing? Not breaking news? I don't recall ever seeing on video the Director of the FBI publicly making that statement so it seemed relevant. I also don't see anyone pushing the biological weapon theory so don't know why you felt the need to put that out there. "low confidence is probably was not genetically engineered". I guess that settles it....lol. Come on DDD, the number one reason for knowing it was lab related is the lack of cooperation and outright destruction of evidence that could destroy that theory. Oh well, as it states in the full DNI report: "China’s cooperation most likely would be needed to reach a conclusive assessment of the origins of COVID-19. Beijing, however, continues to hinder the global investigation, resist sharing information, and blame other countries, including the United States. These actions reflect, in part, China’s government’s own uncertainty about where an investigation could lead as well as its frustration the international community is using the issue to exert political pressure on China."
  14. rents rolling hard and more multifamily supply coming online
  15. So you disagree with the FBI and the DOE. And you're spending a ton of time and effort in this thread trying to downplay the lab release and give more credence to the natural origin. I'm curious why?
  16. push and pull between expected demand destruction from global recession and supply constraints due to underinvestment of production over the last decade. If no demand destruction get ready to have your tits ripped off by higher oil prices
