  1. Will we beat these guys to advance to the Sweet Sixteen or will they butt fuck us? * * or both? Edited to add: ∆ Username and avatar check the fuck out, eh?
  2. There used to be a Quizno's at Gessner and Westheimer and I popped in there every so often for a half sandwich and cup of soup to go. The "last" time I was there I got a cup of clam chowder. Clam chowder. Quizno's.
  3. I'll wait until Georgio from Ancient Aliens tells me what it's all about. Activity at the Bermuda Triangle underwater bases would be my guess. 🤔
  4. Hah! I read that in Hank Hill’s voice.
  5. never gets old…. 😆
  6. I've never been there but the alternative to "being open until sold out" is either having food left over or being open AFTER sold out. Neither one is sustainable in craft bbq. If you want to be Dickey's maybe... Put me in the bad idea category.
  7. After inhabiting the Americas for some 15,000 years (and counting), we have found "literally" hundreds of thousands of artifacts used in the hunting, butchering and eating of game animals, AND the cultivation of certain plants, but no one, no one ever, found an artifact associated with pulling the wings off a cricket. 🤔

  12. Link I remember seeing her in One Million Years BC as a young adolescent on the 3pm Million Dollar Movie after school. Revolutionary.
  13. Phat Eatery is great. Its not a fancy restaurant - it features Malaysian street food with typical Indonesian thrown in. Rotis and rendang, etc. Cool vibe and great food. Recommended.
  14. Checks out.

For lunch, You might look into Pappa Charlie’s and Killen's. They’re across the freeway from each other I think. I’ve been to both but in other locations.

At the NW corner of 290 and Jones is a small strip center with a Starbucks at one end and a breakfast taco place at the other. The name escapes me, but I can find it if interested. They close at 2pm or something but they have great tacos and a constant stream of customers. That should work for you. For BBQ at dinner, your best bet probably "is" Rudy's. BBQ in these parts is pretty much breakfast and lunch. It's all dried out by dinner. As for Truth BBQ, you're probably as close to the Brenham location as the Houston one, time wise. Traffic is about the same but at least it's all going the same direction.
