  1. Justin Wells has the worst poker face I’ve ever seen, and he’s been grinning like the Cheshire Cat whenever the subject of McDonald comes up, so it’s gotta be Texas, or he’s completely bamboozled.
  2. Debating Indian emperors was not on my Surly bingo card today, so congrats, fellas. Really fired up about this class, seems to be some legit program changers.
  3. Later in the show, J.D. mentioned Ronnie’s note/text helping him deal with “something he’s going thru,” so a divorce is probably it.
  4. Is J.D. divorced from the gold digging makeup artist/workout chick Jennifer Tanko? Listening to Tuesday’s show, and he’s talking about visiting the scrip club, and I’m not hearing the usual caveats married dudes spew about how they kept it PG. As I think about it, he never mentions married life anymore. (Googling doesn’t help, there are some really bizarre articles about the couple that are either computer generated or weird translations that make zero sense.)
  5. I’m sure I’ll feel extra stupid when I get the answer, but I can’t for the life of me figure out who “GW” is in this context? I know GH (Gerry), GK (Fat Ketch), CTJ, SS, BB, etc, Thanks in advance.
  6. McDonald is a badass, he could be a wildcat QB if he wanted. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13551518/612d27af9a9c5a066806295e
  7. Fuck ESPN recruiting coverage and the boy announcer named “Onion.” Made the contention Muhammad may have chosen a different destination had SOC not gone so far in the playoffs.
  8. Blaming Caleb Williams for USC losses is a helluva take. The defense is shit. And I’m all for it. That was a very satisfying result.
  9. We could use a top man like you in the Worthy thread on the Football board, but a certain Important Poster is fueling much of the derail.
  10. Apologies for the derail, but… http://voyagela.com/interview/meet-natasha-marc-beauty-marc-fitness-studio-city/
  11. You really think people remember your individual posts? (Well, we’ll all remember this one. Kudos.)
  12. I saw that shit live, targeting gonna give them another chance. Wild.
  13. 20 yard mistake by the returner
  14. Weird give up call
  15. Yeah, Texas Christian had their moment. Up by 19, pissed it away in a heartbeat.
  16. Is the game over for you? It ended about a minute ago
  17. Checking out ESPN Gamecast seems to be ahead of the posters here
  18. Skinner appears to be a tough kid… and well hydrated.
  19. Can someone paraphrase what was said in this post? I’m presuming it’s a Worthy social media entry. And what’s the basis behind the “Sanders ripped Worthy on the sidelines” take? Something the bald fuck sideline reporter said during the broadcast? I tuned him out after he commented that You know, Ewers really isn’t that bad a kid once you meet him, this perception we had that he’s a total dickhead didn’t match the person we met. All I’ve ever seen from QE is a humble kid with shit for styling, but maybe they just read aggy sites, being the SEC crew. (But that’s another thread…)
  20. Yes sir, loyal to a fault. I somewhat surprised myself when I took profit 🤣. Thankfully, I have a long horizon, even though I’m an old fuck. Thanks.
  21. Thank you, Trey. I suspect the equity I’d be selling will be at a similar point in 30 days (or lower). All long term, maybe more Amazon. But I’ll give it some thought. I appreciate the insight.
  22. Sorry if this is already addressed elsewhere, but I have a tax loss harvesting question. I took some profit on AMZN earlier in the year (should have sold all of it), and today just sold an even worse loser to counterbalance most of the profit, but there’s still about a $5,000 difference, and I sure as hell don’t intend to pay taxes I don’t have to. I have the annual $3,000 loss carryover from wayyyy back… so my question is, do I need to sell $5,000 worth of another losing equity to make up the AMZN profit, or is the number $2,000 due to the carryover? Also, since I believe the carryover can actually offset my typical earnings, do I have the option to sell $5,000 worth of a loser to balance out the profit, and keep the $3,000 carryover for a tax reduction on my yearly earnings? Or is that not possible, or simply stupid? I hope this all makes sense to someone, thanks in advance.
