  1. OP isn't wrong, but sowing apathy among those who know better is the entire point of this specific phase of the downward spiral that ultimately lets the shitheads win.
  2. Do you ejaculate one sperm at a time?
  3. Muslim leaders acknowledge the possibility of leopards. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/muslims-who-voted-trump-upset-by-his-pro-israel-cabinet-picks-2024-11-15/
  4. Perhaps you've considered this, but you're likely also trading your wife, and definitely trading your kids in that scenario.
  5. I don't know what you expect out of the savages in row 37...
  6. Ghost poop.
  7. I'm not sure how or why you inferred that I'm somehow opposed to cannibalism.
  8. Ha! Same on all counts... I like octopus, but gave up eating it a long time ago. They're just too cool and too smart for me to not be a little bothered by it. I've converted a few people along the way. I also realize and acknowledge that makes me a bit of a hypocrite because I still eat plenty of pork products, and pigs are pretty smart too.
  9. Not sure if you're referring to me or Tim Coulson (I haven't; can't speak to Coulson...), but it's not exactly a huge leap for a stoned brain to consider what sort of unknown extraterrestrial entity might have a vested interest in us ruining our planet by melting the ice caps. An equally obvious criticism is that any space-faring civilization could likely microwave Earth more easily and efficiently that planting the seeds of humanity and letting evolution do the rest, but I would counter that the reign of humanity (and perhaps even the existence of Earth itself - Big Bang was 14 billion years ago, while Earth is "only" 4.5 billion years old) is pretty goddamn brief in a cosmic time scale.
  10. This could go in any number of different threads, but given what we're doing to the planet, I've occasionally wondered if humanity is just a terraforming tool for some long-lived and technologically advanced underwater species - perhaps direct relatives (or employers?) of the octopus. This article and it's predictions and conclusions (scientifically disreputable source acknowledged) all seem pretty straightforward that if humanity is wiped out, the octopus is in the on-deck circle for control of the planet. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14085209/Scientists-reveal-creature-rule-Earth.html
  11. Perhaps this is old news (I generally avoid this thread when I am behind in watching the races, which is almost all the time...) but I saw that Monaco will officially no longer be on the same day as the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. That is (was) my favorite day of the year. Doomlet was almost born on that day, and if he was, we would have named him Miles (as in 1,261 miles of racing that day) and those fucking bastards currently in charge of modern F1 fucking ruined it. Pieces of shit.
  12. https://federal-lawyer.com/whistleblower-lawyers/fda/ Can't vouch for these people, but they might be worth contacting. Keep/generate/maintain a paper trail and document shit from now on. Keep a dated log book with notes and observations and whatever else. Don't trust your memory to put it all together later on down the road. Keep in mind that you currently have absolutely no standing whatsoever for a wrongful termination claim, given that you remain employed... Good luck.
  13. You're a time traveler.
  14. Everyone's nerdy nephew could already explain it! The context/message is generally "same as it ever was" or "it was always this way" or similar. Why this picture is associated with that sentiment is beyond me, however.
  15. It's an odd look for sure, but a definite improvement over what a former colleague once referred to as "a boneless afro."
  16. Is that Chad Briscoe with the two butts?
  17. I assume that there's a much greater probability of scooters ending up under water in San Antonio than in other areas where a river isn't as central to the entertainment district.
  18. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the elite university wasn't Oxford.
  19. These people are generally incapable of nuance or anything approaching cognitive dissonance.
  20. IndyCar has been an outstanding product the past couple of seasons. Edit - @Bevo&Pevo
  21. You're not wrong, except for your needless reliance on the r-word.
  22. This was very useful. I tried something similar back when I first got my Blue Sky invite and it was underwhelming, but this is exactly what I had hoped for - it's not a perfect reproduction, but it certainly looks a lot like my old (i.e., pre-Elmo) Twitter feed. Now I'm just downloading whatever I can via X before deactivating tomorrow.
  23. I haven't tried anything yet - I thought someone posted that we can't delete anything except one at a time, which seems like a time-consuming nuisance.
  24. So for those of us who have no fucking business whatsoever even attempting whatever the shit this is about, what are we supposed to do if we want to nuke our own Twitter feed?
