1. I'm watching the opening ceremonies so I decided to see how other countries were faring versus COVID. It looks like they're all doing better than we are... by a lot. We had 3,000 people die today. Brazil had 1,000. Do you think it would change anything if they flashed those numbers as each nation entered the stadium? Probably not.
2. ... then return with a new username. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
3. That's only because the other black man in the movie died in particularly spectacular fashion. LL Cool J's survival depended on Samuel Jackson's sacrifice. Shoulders of giants an all.
4. I have the piece of shit on ignore, but when he's quoted I can't escape it. This exchange caught my attention. Teaching the big picture acts of racism in America's past (slavery, segregation, and the response to the Civil Rights Movement) aren't proof that we've overcome racism. The fact that we aren't teaching the acts that precipitated from those acts (racist G.I. Bill implementation, housing loan discrimination, all the way down to gerrymandering and voting restrictions) are proof that we still have work to do. CRT tries to address it. I wonder why some try to vilify it. Sorry for quoting you Captainant. You just quoted the dipshit.
5. Looks like DonkeyTroll went back and +repped it after my post. Message Board rep... serious business.
6. Until I read the caption, I thought that was a pile of dog shit. Now I have an idea what to do when people don't pick up after their dogs.
7. I'll give internet points to anyone that names the 5 posters that +repped this post by the OP. Here's a hint: many of them are still posting... under different names.
8. Reminds me of the Tea Party rally I attended. I like small government. I don't like government handouts to corporations. The Tea Party was really talking my language early on. So why shouldn't I go to a rally? The dorks dressed like Minutemen were strikes 1 and 2, but the Obama effigies in nooses and constant stream of n-bombs were strikes 3, 4, and 5. I left posthaste.
9. To be honest, I don't know those details of their family finances. I just know that they were happy to use ACA, but not happy enough to vote for the party that made it happen.
10. I would say that a lot of working men didn't have affordable health insurance. Obamacare attempted to do that. Of course both my working man, Obama-hating stepbrothers jumped at the chance to save some money on insuring their 7 kids. Then they voted for Trump because they hate socialism (and Mexicans).
11. Dude, you're one of the people I rely on for data. Know your audience, my man.
12. Correct. This is probably how we should always respond whenever any other issue is brought up.
13. The problem, and Brisketexan addresses this, is that you're acting like this is all new shit. It isn't, and acting like Joe Biden created this problem while Donald Trump permanently solved this problem is not an argument made in good faith. Last time I saw a Republican (or anyone really) make a good faith attempt was George W, and he was shut down... by Republicans.
14. Maybe he can score an interview with Roger Clemens.
15. And whining. He's a whiner. They're all whiners.
16. I said this the last time you morons posted this. He's never going to fuck you either. Your devotion to him is pathetic.
17. You're gonna have to be more specific.
18. Fucking with a butterfly sanctuary. https://www.vice.com/en/article/93bdgv/qanon-sex-trafficking-conspiracies-national-butterfly-center
19. Seriously though, everyone should make time to visit this place the next time you're at Big Bend. Buffalo Soldiers kicked all kinds of ass.
20. I'm gonna start leaving stuffed animals by her yard signs when I see them.
21. Wait a minute. I know you. You're Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. You play basketball for the Los Angeles Lakers. I'm sorry, son, but you must have me confused with someone else. My name is Roger Murdock. I'm the spokesperson for Fort Davis National Historic Site. .
22. I literally watched this episode tonight, so this hits close to home.
23. He's talking about me. I made an assumption about his kid based on his description. I regret nothing.
24. I can think of no worse place for a person with food allergies to eat than a Waffle House. But yeah, he would have been cut up real quick at the Waffle House.
