  1. Behind and catching up, so pardon if this point has already been made. To me, the more likely scenario is that China would like to see this go on as long as possible to deplete US defense stores (mainly ammunition) and to make the American public as war weary as possible. I would guess that that would significantly boost their chances in a shooting war with Taiwan, especially if American isolationism can be stirred. Might be far fetched, but the playbook has been used before.
  2. Is that a bonus purple dildo included with the picture?
  3. Had the Champion 7200w open frame inverter and it's pretty loud. I gave it to my mom after I had a Generac installed. It works for them since they can put it outside the garage and they don't hear it much (helps being hard of hearing), but I'm not sure about their neighbors (they live in a one acre lot subdivision). It handled 3 refrigerator/freezers, coffee maker , phone charging, TV and satellite receiver and portable lamp for several days without any issues.
  4. Just be aware for the cattle ag exemption, although reviewed on a case by case basis, the general rule of thumb is more than 10 acres. It would also be fairly difficult to find someone to run cattle on 10 acres, much less 5. Not much bang for the buck. That said, there is one case that you can easily get the ag exemption on smaller acreage tracts and that is if the purchased land is attached to land that is currently under hay production or cattle grazing and the land is easily accessible (usually meaning no fence or at least a gate) for the use to continue.
  5. If Rayford gets status, could we name him Nightlinger?
  6. Were you able to scalp the extra tickets?
  7. Yeah, I got 4 tickets to the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday practice rounds. Now have to figure out the rest.
  8. I guess to help it retain some moisture and try to keep the rate of cook as even as possible across the different areas (ie, some areas of the flat have fat cap and some don't). I don't really know as I'm not that experienced with cooking briskets, just pointed out that it was something I had read and night help.
  9. Don't really know shit about fuck, but I've seen plugs intentionally miswired to prevent freezers from being tripped. Is it possible that the previous owner had a freezer or refrigerator operating off of the same outlet as the irrigation?
  10. In for $101...am I doing this right? For real, though
  11. I've read that you can use thick cut cheap (read fatty) bacon to help protect the areas that were overly trimmed. I had planned to try this on a brisket that I got from a half calf that I had bought (also had most of the fat trimmed off), but I ran into issues with the pellet grill (yeah, I know) tripping a breaker continuously due to arc fault issues and gave up.
  12. My google skills are mediocre, but I can't seem to find any t-shirts in this style. Someone is missing out on some serious revenue (hopefully for Ukraine), if it isn't available.
  13. We paid $2,200 for 2 but that also included Delta Comfort+ airline tickets. The flights ended up being about $3,300 alone, so we really got a good deal.
  14. I'm sure you know that it's not quite that easy. You'll have to use a facilitator as you can't take possession of the money at any time until the exchange is concluded.
  15. Quick question. We went last year through buying tickets at a charity auction. This year, I won tickets through the lottery, but I can't make it. I'm sending friends who haven't been. I'm assuming they mail the tickets and I don't remember them checking IDs or anything, so there shouldn't be a problem with them getting in if I'm not there, right?
  16. And, now, I just realize that I'm going to be in Hawaii. We had four people get in the lottery with the agreement that if someone won practice round tickets, we'd all go, so at least it works out for them. I feel like Al Bundy with the luck
  17. Just got the email. Four for Monday.
  18. Just had an interesting conversation with my electrician. It seems that pellet smokers don't play well with arc fault breakers over time. I hadn't had any issues with the Yoder in the year since I bought it, but it started tripping the breaker this weekend with only the LED patio lights on. He said that he has seen it a couple of times where simply replacing the arc fault with a GFCI will stop it from happening. Just something to keep in mind if you start having issues.
  19. Man, the first scene of the video would have been an excellent time to see the tungsten shotgun
  20. Having season tickets to the Texas Stars, I just don't see it with Mavrik Bourque. 70 games, 47 points. He's pretty small and doesn't seem fast enough to overcome it. Stats say 5'10", 185 but it sure doesn't seem like it.
  21. A rule my wife lives by with 2 suitcases for a 2 night stay
