  1. It’s something to watch but seeing 500 people in the stands for those games makes me sad.
  2. Agreed I’m angry just not surprised. And lol at “statutory responsibilities” from this administration. There literally wiping their asses with even constitutional responsibilities on a daily basis.
  3. Haha fuck him then but his 5th point is spot on. Last time I encountered an aggy lawyer he was wearing that stupid high school ring with an high and tight poorly done hair cut and I lost all respect for him and wiped the floor with him at a hearing. That was before they bought Wesleyan so it was a sad aggy undergrad. At SMU Law my favorite memory was when Prof. Dorsaneo had the Joe Jamail deposition from the Pennzoil case playing as we walked in, good shit lol.
  4. Lol! I saw some intro videos and the fans look very Polar Express lol
  5. I love this show. The Sunny side of Abbott was pretty good but the second was classic Sunny. It felt like it would have fit in several seasons ago.
  6. Has a single page ever been Slorch'd and Derka'd at the same time?
  7. Pretty damn close, shady as fuck. Still for profit traded on NASDAQ. From 1000 students in 2008 to 17,000 in 2017 to over 100,000 today, mostly online. Best comment I saw was "next up University of Phoenix and Southern New Hampshire University."
  8. Different topic but fits the thread title and I was just sent this today coincidentally. Watch to No. 5.
  9. It's not similar to the Onion, it is the Onion. Same people. It's their take on clickbait type social media pages.
  10. Seems simple, don't @ imma when some DT snowflake starts crying "ehermagerd CR," just ignore it or call them a bitch and move on. I just caught up and there's plenty of discussion on the DT thread about accountability and the bullshit coming from Ralph Cruz and Gov. Hotwheels. I disagree with the comment above that things aren't different today than in 2001, 2006, 2008, 2016, etc. The last ten years have been deliberately set up such that everything is political. You can't even talk about rain and flood occurrences without some nutjob coming in with weather manipulation and cloud seeding bullshit. The fires in California and the bridge disaster in Baltimore were immediately politicized by the people now crying about politiciziation of a tragedy. It's all intertwined and it was done so on purpose. I tend to defer to CR for most of my discussions about this stuff to be safe and it's worked out fine. Like someone said above, there's more detailed information in CR at this point, it is what it is.
  11. I fail to see the difference.
  12. The reason Christianity and Islam are so widely practiced in so many different parts of the world is that they were certain enough that they were right that they went to war, conquered others, and forced it on the locals. Kind of hard to preach this line of thinking considering this history.
  13. The new thread title needs a little winkie at the end. there are no Epstein files
  14. I found footage of the most recent cabinet meeting.
  15. I mean Alex Jones and the Magafucks know Trump is on the list, a bunch. I assume they feel deprived of their typical plan to explain his away and go to town on democrats and liberal celebs? “He was there for the snorkeling but Clooney definitely fucked some kids.” It never made sense other than just words. My guess is that they found out quick that every accusation is a confession and that a ton of righties were on there and very few libs.
  16. The bold is where it falls apart for me and I think has it backward. You say that it makes sense if you are a believer, but the question in my mind is what objective basis is there to believe this particular version of religion? Most religious people abide by the religion they were born into and learned from birth. Where it really started to fall apart for me was the question as to why I was supposed to believe that Catholicism was correct and everyone else was wrong, especially when it comes to the billions of people who were raised non Christian like Judaism and Islam, and even moreso for non Abrahamic religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. There is simply no rational basis to believe that one is correct over another. I have since leaned more into religious study as a historical issue, including its role in shaping society and culture, and am convinced it has done more harm than good overall. In today's America, it's not even close considering how many religious people are full of hatred and vitriol for fellow humans which is the complete opposite of how I learned the teachings of Jesus which objectively, on the whole, is pretty good, love they neighbor, welcome the stranger, turn the other cheek, etc., etc.
  17. Meanwhile Dez Bryant had lunch with Deion Sanders having nothing to do with Oklahoma State or competetive advantage and was suspended for his final fucking college season. I can't wait for the NCAA to finally be burned to the ground so I can piss on its ashes. And fuck johnny foosball and the secsecsec cheaters who never faced any fucking consequences for actual cheating.
  18. The Barenaked Ladies parody made me laugh. I preferred the Vindicators as a super hero parody but a lot of people hated that one too so I guess I'm just weird.
  19. Saw this in the other thread. Is "flash flood warning" in this area understood to mean that the rivers are going to overflow their banks and to take higher ground? In my area "flash flood warnings" are pretty common and are understood to mean that intersections are likely to flood and to not drive through them but do not implicate the Arkansas River exceeding its banks. If that is at issue, which is once or twice a decade, the warning specifically mentions the river, and the NWS robot voice says specifically to head to higher ground if you are near the banks. To me that is really is the question. Was "flash flood warning" sufficient or should it have been more specific? My experience is that it should be more specific.
  20. They blamed democrats for fires in California because librul. Blame floods on republicans in Texas because maga. The high road has failed. This is ‘murica now.
  21. This very much lines up with the belief that religion was created by the rich and powerful when most of humanity were slaves, surfs, servants, etc., whose lives were dogshit. It gave them a reason to just keep doing the shit work with no path to earthly prosperity because it’ll be totally worth it after you die, often from being worked to death.
  22. Yup, it's "low tax business friendly government is bad" bullshit. ou get what you vote for.
