  1. How does one “interview” for the job in that situation? If you don’t get the job how do you go back? If it was Arkansas State maybe, but how could UA let that go? Surely it would be a beach of contract or something.
  2. Trump himself has jumped the shark so bad the impressions aren’t funny anymore. Just hearing anything resembling his voice is rage inducing. I wouldn’t feel compelled to do bits of him anymore, stick to the other characters. Scar Jos bit in the weird SOTU lady was great.
  3. Should have kept the Gamblers instead of the roughnecks.
  4. Notre Dame, Stanford, and Cal should start their own "Independence Conference" to simply bask in the smell of their own farts. Hell, Utah can join them if they're gonna continue bitching.
  5. I have no idea if this is legitimate and I’m not responding, so if this is legit and this is how they’re polling, I’m pretty certain I’m far from the only Biden supporter that isn’t being counted.
  6. TL;DR, but I assume that means it was antifa?
  7. And for all the consternation, everybody knows that DEI at major corporations is not much more than a page on the website. I'm very familiar with these types of programs. Or made up bullshit like "I couldn't get a loan because woke DEI" or whatever the fuck that lie was about.
  8. Oh well all know you give zero fucks about racism in this world. Move along.
  9. Yes, and you know this damn well, most recently the gqp references to Baltimore's "DEI Mayor." You're little head in the sand trick is transparent as hell, but you obviously know this as well.
  10. I'm in, looks great, cast is funny as hell. Burr as JFK, fantastic. I also like how Jerry's hair looks like the bad haircut from the series, which of course just looks normal.
  11. Prior to his last three HC appearances in the big dance, he was a four year assistant at Purdue under Matt Painter (and played a big role in recruiting Eddy apparently), and seven years before that under McDermott at Creighton. He's also from Texas and has lots of recruiting connections in the state which is important to OSU (and a positive when compared to Sprinkle and DeVries who many of our fans wanted as well). There's no "home run" hires available for our program, so if he's the guy, I'm happy.
  12. I grew up in South Texas and this was a major treat growing up, got them all the time at the gas station.
  13. DEI, please, you know goddamned well how it's being used these days.
  14. I edited the post to address this, you're not describing "racism."
  15. It's almost as though people who were considered property for 200+ years, then "less than" for another hundred years, all while being denied the same opportunities for education, higher education, and in the workforce, might have some generational effects that logical people feel deserve to be addressed. But that's crazy, I guess. Everything's the same now. Give me a fucking break. BTW, your definition of "racist" is so off it's laughable. Your "technical and academic" definition of race being an influence is by definition a form of discrimination, which has many connotations, not all of which are negative. The definition of racism is "a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race." Affirmative action and DEI, as you're describing it, is not racism, because it's not based on a belief that race defines human traits. It's the opposite in fact and is a a form of discrimination by technical definition designed to remedy a past of insidious discrimination against certain groups, primarily Black people and Latinos (not limited to them of course), which was premised on the belief that their race made them inferior, i.e., racism. But yeah, white folks just can't catch any breaks these days.
  16. Yea, racists have been racist for decades. Good observation idiot. The difference is that it’s now popular to not only be racist but to say it out loud.
  17. I always thought it was a cool bridge. I saw a video recently of how they’re having to fix the existing work in the new bridge. What a nightmare. The causeways always seemed freakier to me for reasons I can’t really explain, I think the sharper degree of rise and fall felt extreme.
