  1. I bought a par of Wahl clippers about 10 years ago. #1 all over, about every 10-14 days. I have my wife clean up the back. It's glorious.
  2. Nothing has changed for me, really. I haven't missed work yet and don't plan on it, as my job never bothered to move into the 21st century and prepare for remote working. My wife is working from home next week, my kids are seniors in HS and are out of school until at least April 6th. The only change for me is the grocery stores are picked over and we didn't have any fun stuff to do this weekend because just about every retail establishment is closed.
  3. I was at Academy yesterday and they have it...if you get to the store about 15-20 minutes before they open and hurry to the back when they let you in. Also it was a 3 unit limit and that's NOT per caliber. 3 boxes, period. I went to get a shotgun for the house (been putting it off for years) and got 2 boxes of shells and a box of 9mm for my Glock. Dudes that look like they haven't moved quickly in years were urgently double-timing to the back of the store.
  4. My sister texted me and casually mentioned that her 27 year old daughter has the virus. I asked if she had tested positive, she said no and that she "heard" they won't test young people but she's got the symptoms. I said "great diagnosis, Doc" and changed the subject. The fact that she didn't immediately post about it on facebook leads me to believe it's not true, she's incabable of keeping any of her life details to her self.
  5. I didn't intend to imply that they were, I'm just not going to act at those numbers. I've been checking their website several times a day to see how the numbers are fluctuating. It's bizarre.
  6. My credit union rates went through the roof. From 3.25 for a 30 yesterday to 4.25 today. Fuck that noise.
  7. Are you callin' me a coon-ass???? Not sure if it's better of worse but I'm in OK.
  8. Yes, I work for a state agency (not texas). We're so far behind, tech-wise, that it's embarrassing. I have to use Lotus notes for one of my jobs. We just got rid of a DOS option for another. There's a terminal in here that's running Windows 3.1 because the program won't work on newer versions.
  9. About 5 years or so ago, I tried to get my office to move into the 21st century and move most of our processes online. Yeah, my main goal was to try to work from home but my point was valid, our shit is incredibly outdated. Nobody wanted to hear it, everything was fine, it would be a disaster to change anything. Now they're scrambling to figure out how to get shit done remotely. We had the $$$ to implement this plan and nobody could be bothered to do anything. They always seem to figure this shit out after it's too late.
  10. I hate to lose him but there's no way the 49ers could pay that 21MM/yr. I feel great about getting a top 15 pick.
  11. Several school districts in the OKC metro are closed tomorrow, most have spring break next week as well. Supposedly they'll be doing a "deep cleaning".
  12. Healthcare in a dome? The purists will NEVER accept that!
  13. My credit union was offering 2.875 for 20 or 30 yrs (with points) on their website yesterday, so I called to get an appointment. They are booked solid for weeks, I was told. She gave me the rundown on the numbers and said I could apply online. So after work, I got online and the rates were already up to 3.15 or so. I tried to apply and the website was borked. I had to just shut it down, as I was enraged. I get back on today and the rates are up to 3.375 for 20, 3.75 for 30. Fuck this shit.
  14. The price I saw on Reddit is $875,000. Supposedly it was sold by Singer for $500,000.
  15. A Singer 911 is coming up for auction. I guess that doesn't happen much? @ChiTownDoc have at it! https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/PS00/Private-Sales/lots/r0054-1991-Porsche-911-Malibu-Reimagined-by-Singer/866552?&utm_source=rmsothebys.com&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=PS00&utm_term=PS00_PorscheSinger&utm_content=lot_image&_cldee=am9obmhAY2Fyc2Nvb3BzLmNvbQ%3d%3d&recipientid=contact-184dcffbbcf8e811821a000c2971a03a-3fe4deb857424fb6962b9d78bbe258c9&esid=f7fe5f9d-d05c-ea11-8243-000c2971a03a
  16. Watching JJ in the interview, I'm legit concerned for her health. Her head is seriously swollen and looks bad. She looks like an alien gray.
  17. Yeah, she doesn't look bad when she's dolled up.
  18. JJ looks like an extra in a caveman movie.
  19. He won't do shit. He'd get sued in a heartbeat if he has no proof. Haim can't exactly corroborate the story.
  20. I don't know if this is a real car or just an artist's rendering but I really like it. So dumb that they won't offer it in the US.
  21. I bought a tempurpedic over the weekend, last night was the 4th night I've slept on it. Pretty good so far. We got the hybrid with innersprings. Feels much better than the regular Tempurpedics IMO. The wife is happy, which is 70% of the battle.
  22. Ain't no houses on the south side for $220k. You live in Moore, buddy. Own that shit! JK, I hope you get this shit worked out. Best of luck.
  23. Many of them can't write a report for shit. I was in the office one day and saw a report that was written by one of our lieutenants. It was chock full of "He be, they is, we be" and enough misspellings to make me think a 5th grader had written it. Sadly, she wasn't alone. Not many of my coworkers were wordsmiths.
  24. This is the best phony name since Wi Tu Lo or Sum Ting Wong.
