  1. For any of you that has roof damage, @ROFL BOX redid our roof last winter. He made it a lot easier to navigate the hell hole that is working with insurance companies and making sure they don't skimp on necessary repairs. Definitely recommend giving him a shot.
  2. 3 of the top 4 betting favorites in the same group. Damn. Also, love they put mega waggles in the same group as the biggest hater of slow play there is.
  3. Most all golfers go through a lull, even Rory. It's rare to have a career where you're consistently dominant in the post-Tiger era (no one comes to mind). The competition is too great, the upcoming youth is far more skilled, and the number of swing thoughts, philosophies, etc is dizzying. So many opportunities to get punched in the mouth and then not know what to do about it and as someone more skilled than I said (paraphrasing), golf is the one sport you can practice 24/7 and get significantly worse at it.
  4. Now I know how my dog felt watching Lost.
  5. I don't disagree but the white vote moving +3% pro D should frighten R's even more, especially as those votes are swinging swing states blue where as the Latino vote will be heavier in FL and TX. Between those two shifts by my rough math, that's around 400k votes in favor of D.
  6. He makes Patrick Reed look huggable.
  7. Plum is $90 these days???? Wow. That's a seriously bad poa annua growth. Though it appears the poa is the only semblance of grass there.
  8. Good, now maybe my HEB will be better stocked.
  9. Interesting baby holding technique - clearly a father that's not used to using his hands.
  10. It's 1000% worse. Nothing in US infrastructure frightens me after spending more time than I care to admit in India.

    3D Printing

It ended up sitting around and I gave it to a friend who wanted to dabble. Not anything the fault of the printer or the hobby, just was pulled in too many directions to play around with it. I may get back into it again.
  12. Ditto, Team Finish here as well. I loathe squaring and prepping lumber. Too OCD for that shit.
  13. Terry is going to have to hit a home run in the portal or hope Tre Johnson is the 2nd coming of MJ. Returning roster is bleak. I realize this isn't all his fault yet but our talent pipeline is lacking at the moment.
  14. The tee shot on 15 is the only thing holding it back, especially compared to 13. Otherwise, ya, it's a fantastic hole, too.
  15. Easiest way to fix your issue in my experience it to call Spectrum, cancel, and sign up for YouTube TV.
  16. The front 3's and 5's are fairly boring I think. 3 and 9 would be my pick. Also, #1 just because it means the Masters has started. 5 is great for the carnage. Back - 13 is a common answer but I love short par 3's and there is no better short par 3 than 12. Love 16, too - all of the hole locations there make for exciting tee shots. I think 10 and 11 are vastly underrated holes. I just named half the course... Hence why this tournament is so awesome.
  17. If you like your circ saw, just build a jig or buy some tracks. And instead of buying a domino, send me the cash so I can buy a usable jointer.
  18. This place always looks awesome on TV but I've never enjoyed the course layout. It's all just target golf, every shot, no creativity. Watch one hole a few times and you can call what's going to happen. It's the Pete Dye way, I guess. PGA West Stadium Course is the exact same (one of my least favorite courses I've played).
  19. Short game chef (who saved my short game in a big way) would disagree. He's against "adding speed" at address. Definitely works for me.
  20. Scottie is on an all time heater as far as ball striking is concerned. That's not hype or being over the top, that's stats. If he could putt consistently... We're approaching a legit next Tiger kind of stratosphere. Like I said, he's gotta get the putting figured out (beyond one round) but the rest of the game is insane.
  21. Are these two tracks just boring from a strategy perspective or are the tires vanilla or... ? Nearly the entire field on the same strategy and even more so if not for one safety car. I feel like in years past there was more variety but maybe I'm misremembering. Also recall a ton more punctures when teams pushed their tires too far. Maybe what I'm saying is I wish Pirelli was.... worse?
  22. I've seen some plans to make one yourself. Doesn't seem terribly difficult just requires space that I don't have.
  23. Do you have access to a kiln? That's always been what's stopped me from doing something similar.
  24. I love walnut but fuck it's 2x the cost of 4/4 maple. And maple is also awesome. Same with sapele.
  25. That first red... The media is trying to get Pioli to say Pulisic was unsporting but he's saw a free ball, he took a free ball, and then his clearish path to goal was blocked by a take down. Auto yellow. He's under no obligation to play the ball out, that's on the defender trying to win a throw vs just putting the ball out.
