  1. Played Butler National on Sunday. By far the best golfing experience of my life. Walking only, men's only, caddies used by everyone even members. Amazing course. Perfect walk. I could quit golf now (but obviously won't). Shot 39/41 80, dropped the handicap a full stroke to get it under 10. Highest slope/rating course I've played.
  2. When golf became a more inclusive sport actually aimed at women rather than a guys club?
  3. He also hinted there will be another penalty coming for another upgrade - he's likely starting from back of the pack.
  4. I really only click the commit threads for the T&A. Thanks for not disappointing.
  5. John Daly is a lot shorter than I realized.
  6. I'm guessing Phil had other demons at play as well, but it's just conjecture (until Bones writes his tell all). Rory essentially said it got to the point that he worried his friendship with his caddy would sour because everything was so hyper focused on golf decisions and he didn't want to not be friends with his caddy. And his caddy wasn't interested in being just a "carry the bag" caddy. So before it got bad, they parted and Rory picked up Harry to just haul his sticks.
  7. Sorry guys, that was me. Had a few too many bottomless mimosas at brunch.
  8. His previous caddy was fired for making wrong calls so now he has a caddy that basically does nothing but hand Rory a club and give him a hug after losing the Open. He wants it this way, all on him and no one else. I can respect that.
  9. You think the Saudis give two shits about their women hating, abusing, demeaning ways? They care as much about that as they do about slave labor. Or a free press. Fuck that shit hole of a country. And fuck any golfer getting into bed with them.
  10. Let's not get carried away... Jordan made Greller, not the other way around. The only reason we hold Greller in such high esteem is because Jordan raves about him which to me is just a testament of Jordan's character, not Greller's abilities as a caddy. I really doubt there is a huge list of top pros out there that want Greller on the bag. His biggest plus is the ability to ignore his player's commentary. Basically, Hatton may be interested. But that's about it.
  11. The real issue is DalTx and fatty think they are the rocket scientist.
  12. Loved the announcers after the safety car - something to the effect of "and there's Alonso sneaking in there because of course he would".
  13. You've done a fine job of validating your intellect.
  14. Fuck you for giving UT EE's a bad name. Ohm's law is ashamed of your shit.
  15. Courts don't make up laws, that's not their job, nor did they in Roe. Constitution didn't allow for interracial marriage either. Or gay marriage. Or disallow them. There was no precedence for either. Are you saying those are up next?
  16. The absence of a precedent is not precedence.
  17. You write all that verbal diarrhea and can't even be bothered to delete "Sent from my iPad"?
  18. Nice nerd burn, bro.

I'd rather be in Germany. He'd be that futbol player from Los Angeles over there vs just some random dude on the street in LA. Women. Beer. Scenery. Culture. Women. Watches. Oktoberfest. Women. I see the appeal.
  20. Cops aren't cops these days.
  21. Your reputation precedes you. And I'm a fucking sucker for falling for it. Right now, with so little futbol going on other than MLS, it's basically YouTube and Wikipedia. Once the euro season starts back up again in August, pick a league out of the German Bundesliga, English PL, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, or French Ligue 1 (Bundesliga, EPL, or La Liga probably have the most world cup bound players I'm guessing) and just watch and learn. I got into the sport when my oldest daughter was born because EPL coverage was the only thing on at 6am after I'd already been awake for 3 hours. I got into it pretty quick - there is something to be said for commercial free, guaranteed 2 hour and no more time commitments when it comes to sports. And it truly is a beautiful game when you get past the stupid theatrics. And the emotion and tension you see in these high profile league games, whether it's a promotion battle or a battle to win the league.... Multiply that by 10 and you start to get close to World Cup levels.

Spend a year making a cool $1M (or $750k, whatever) in Germany as a 27 year old vs living in LA? Fuck ya I'd take it. That sounds awesome.
