  1. And what if I perceive things different from you? What's the reality then?
  2. Your translation app must be broken. The NRA's statement makes no rational sense (as noted by the numerous "why would you do this from a business perspective, Yeti?" posts). They didn't tell the whole story. Yeti had to chime in and fill in the gaps. I don't think this is a case of backpedaling and trying to cover up a mistake.
  3. Any interest in DIY? If you can rent a trench digger, it's really pretty easy just time consuming. Parts are really cheap. For reference, we paid ~$1500 for two zones and the parts required probably totaled less than $100. I had to get it done in a weekend because it was holding up a backyard remodel (and I didn't want to hear my wife bitch) otherwise I would have DIY.
  4. Hard not to at C Falls. That place is a beating.
  5. It depends on the Barbera. The lighter, lower alcohol Barbera, sure, don't cellar that. But they make quite a few (in particular a number of Barbera d' Asti) that can be and probably should be cellared.
  6. Lord Huron's new album just released. Giving it a listen now...
  7. Except they don't.... "Preference" is roughly 50/50 between eTail and retail. Actually purchases is heavily in favor of retail.
  8. Also.... I love how nearly everyone complains about how Austin as a city isn't forward thinking and can't plan for growth worth a shit but when we actually do try to plan for growth it turns into "look at little Austin, being so silly".
  9. EWR is also a high demand airport. They can live with 3 runways and airlines will still flock to their gates and pay the fees and deal with delays. AUS needs operational convenience/effeciency to attract some of these new routes. Edit: I guess by "airlines" I really mean United.
  10. Brick and Mortar is still 90%+ of retail in the US. It may be declining, but it's still the dominating path to market. Edit: Even in consumer electronics, which one would think is a very heavy eTail market compared to, for example, food and bev... Only 35% of sales is done online vs 65% in brick and mortar.
  11. $10 steak and lobster at the Yellow Rose.
  12. Yes I get that but the R vs L differences are consistent across the different 737 variants that I can tell - on the right side, you have one section of solid fuselage (one window missing) and on the left side, you have 2 sections of solid fuselage (2 windows missing). Why is that? I would think it would be symmetrical but it's not. Edit: Nevermind, it's not consistent across variants. I'm an idiot.
  13. Crown & Anchor reminds me of finals and senior projects. I have a hard time going back as a result.
  14. A couple buddies and I went out to Horseshoe Bay to play a round of golf and ate at Double Horn Brewery in Marble Falls beforehand. Holy moly was it good. I got the chicken fried steak and it was perfect - fairly thick (for a CFS), lightly breaded. Gravy was spot on. A couple of the pale ales to wash it down. Friend got the bison burger and he raved about it. We all got some fried pickles to start and they were pretty legit too - cut real thin, which I like. If you're ever out that way, skip Bluebonnet Cafe and go here instead. It's so much better.
  15. On the right side, the sections of solid fuselage are different from the left side. Why is that? Left - 2 sections, between W and E, and between E and S: Right - only 1 section, across the O (I assume this is different from your picture because they are different 737 variants):
  16. This is true for all fish except tuna. Tuna does not have to be frozen first. https://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/08/nyregion/sushi-fresh-from-the-deep-the-deep-freeze.html
  17. He's still a heavy UK lean from what I've read. Kind of crazy he would contemplate reclassifying to join UK's current crop of guards. Certainly doesn't fear competition I guess. Or something is amiss and he's not as strong of a UK lean as everyone is making it out to be.
  18. Are all 3 watch pillows included?
  19. Connecting how? DFW - AUS - LAX? Or connecting to the LHR flight on BA? Hard to believe AA would funnel passengers through Austin when Austin only connects to AA primary hubs (DFW, PHX, LAX, CLT, ORD, MIA, NYC, PHL) and LHR. And all of those hubs have a non stop to LHR already.
  20. Well look at the big brain on Brad. Nice one and a nice strap to boot.
  21. I'm in that camp too. God it hurts.
  22. Arguing your individual bullet points aside, I count 2 bullet points that actually talk about (or imply) a good W/L. 2 out of 9 "positives" actually mean something. I don't care who he recruits successfully or not. I care about wins. And three years into the experiment and the best our most (arguably) optimistic board member can come up with is 2 bullet points speaking to W/L success.
  23. He kept playing and brushed it off like it was nothing. Probably a chronic issue for him from his basketball days.
  24. If that's the case, it's conceivable we pass DAL this year given how strong the year has started for AUS.
  25. That wasn't just a roll - it popped out of place and he had to maneuver it back into place.
