  1. One was an area that needed the most improvement. The other lost the most production.
  2. Like you never put a WR in at TE in NCAA. Scored an 80 yard TD, so clearly works in real life.
  3. In the polling of Republican voters, I have yet to hear a voter mention child labor laws as being too stringent. However, it is a clear strategy for Republicans. Most Republican led states are discussing weakening laws, with some even passing new laws, Iowa and Arkansas for example. Florida is up next. HB 49, pushed by Rep. Linda Chaney and her GOP colleagues is a total rollback of child labor protections for teens. They want to let 16- and 17-year-olds work insane hours during school, and even let them drop out for full-time jobs if they're in some home or virtual school program. The supporters, like the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, are dressing it up as reducing 'unnecessary' regulation and boosting job opportunities. It's not about helping teenagers; it's about cheap labor and filling low-wage jobs without regard for these kids' education or well-being. This particular bill was drafted by the Foundation for Government Accountability – far-right group backed by Dick Uihlein, notorious for his anti-worker/union opinions. The democrats proposed an amendment to protect minors from workplace sexual harassment but it was rejected by the Republicans.
  4. Ah, I should have cross-border to attribute. It popped up on the bs Facebook feed that shows me groups I am not in.
  5. In times like this, I have to remind myself the icon 🖕 applies to the poster, not the subject of the post.
  6. I am sure Gideon will be glad to have a mentor in place. He only had one year of experience coaching safeties prior to joining Texas.
  7. My grandfather graduated from Texas in 1944.
  8. Agree with you. That's seems highly unlikely. After his work this year, he will be a commodity at DC and possibly a HC if his success continues for a couple of years.
  9. Honeymoon with Flacco is over
  10. Georgia hired Travaris Robinson, CB coach from Alabama, to coach safeties.. Muschamp moved to an analyst role.

  12. why does crazy always look the same?
  13. Has any player who reclassified made an impact in their first year? Overton didn't really light it up at aggy and Ewers redshirted.
  14. Lanning, with Dabo having killed his chances due to ineptitude over last few seasons..
  15. Brian Early - Football Coach - University of Houston Athletics (uhcougars.com) Caldwell's DL coach has generated some quality production..

  17. Safe to assume those other APs are closer in proximity to some of the devices than the one AP? Are all APs running updated firmware? Did you check the devices to verify they are going through that 1 AP? It's possible the topology ap is not correct.
  18. So, he will be playing with a different team then? Don't see where he fits in at cornerback here.
  19. Mhttps://www.burntorangenation.com/2023/8/3/23817595/texas-longhorns-defense-pete-kwiatkoswki-sacks-turnovers Reviewing the season based on the 4 goals set before the season: 3rd down defense: Improved to 26.6% conversion (#2 in nation behind Ga), improvement of almost 20 points 4th down defense: Improved to 46.4% conversion (#44 in nation), improvement of 10 points. Still room for improvement imo Turnovers: Improved to 24 (tied for 12th), almost double previous year total. Feels like there is still room for improvement in big games. Sacks: Improved to 32 (52nd), only an improvement of 5. Still room to improve. Along the lines of sacks, would look to improve at tackles for loss in general(6.1 per game). I believe we ended up with only one tfl against Washington. Getting better at finishing plays will help this as we had more than 1 opportunity to drop Washington for a loss, but missed tackles.
  20. Wouldn't Hill and Blackshire essentially fulfill the same role in PKs defense? Blackshire is not going to help in coverage, where Lefau will uniquely thrive. Blackshire has been good on special teams though. I doubt that he would accept that role in transfer.
