  1. He understands more than internet posters how mediocre Arnold is.
  2. Okay, understand the miscommunication. Honestly my dream scenario would be Texas in a 12 team conference kind of like the Big 12 but with LSU instead of Baylor. A few other changes may be okay but the original Big 12 with Texas and Louisiana as in conference recruiting brings would be sweet, to me at least.
  3. I don't care about having Kansas schools but yes I'd like more regional schools. You're going to have to explain how that's hypocritical for me.
  4. I'd be moving Alabama down if I had a ballot. You can have a bad game. It happens. But this was another turd, this time at home.
  5. Heisman #1 pick lol Don't get me wrong, he's a very good college QB. But he's not a great one. He's streaky. He has great games, game where he's a great QB. But overall you can't count on him being great game to game.
  6. Exactly, if it slips out on a pump fake it's an incomplete pass. Bad call.
  7. He was attempting to throw it and it went forward. There is nothing regulating form or style in the rules. You have to call that a forward pass but I'm not sure they will.
  8. Terrible play but the ball went forward. That's an incomplete pass.
  9. So Milroe just grounded a ball from the end zone for a safety. Interesting situation where if he had just gotten tackled then it's not a safety because the tackle started at the 1 or 2 yard line. But he didn't release the throw until he was in the end zone so that makes grounding a safety.
  10. Good timing on the 4th down post/ slot wheel combo route by South Carolina. If Alabama brings a passing down blitz like they usually have today then that play is blown up.
  11. Because some people don't want to watch two NFLs. We already have one. Lots of those smaller schools have great traditions, great alumni and fans, awesome towns, and are fun to watch because they'll try anything. I don't want to watch 36 teams who all run the same offense and defense and call the same plays and coverages. That's boring. And I'm not getting any of the money so I really have no clue why some of you care about athletic administrators and sponsor companies making more of it.
  12. But what if I'm in the Houston area and thinking about a last minute trip to the game?
  13. I was 10 and it is a major core memory not necessarily for the best reasons (my dad is a great man and a great father but he was an Arkansas fan at the time, fortunately my mother raised me right). Hard to believe it's been 37 years, not to mention that game was twice as close to The Game of the Century as it is to today. And now that I think about it, that game was halfway between undefeated national championship seasons.
  14. I'm not a Democrat you imbecile. But thanks for immediately revealing that you're just looking for somebody to validate your feefees.
  15. Yes, we all understand that you are super butthurt about her military comments. You should repeat it three more times to make yourself feel better, though. Good luck.
  16. Why do you think that JayhawkFocus and EMAWCaleb have lots of money? Or are supposedly smart? These are just two fans of Kansas football teams who have access to MS Paint.
  17. Peeling away an R to vote for Harris is the same electoral value as getting out two D voters to vote for her who otherwise wouldn't have. That's how it works. Let's say there are 22 possible voters, 20 who will vote and are split 10 R and 10 D and 2 unmotivated D voters. Changing one of those from R to D is the same value as getting both unmotivated Ds to the polls. One makes it 11-9 D, one makes it 12-10.
  18. I mean I think you're right but that first sentence is nonsensical. Analysis is frequently biased. It's one of the main places you see bias.
  19. Damn, they need to add two more and go back to six 12-team conferences. Especially if they're going to negotiate a leaguewide media contract. Save money on traveling and expenses, etc. Would also make the playoffs more exciting as noted above. The no G5 or FCS non-conference games rule seems questionable though. None of those "big boys" (which is what they'll think of themselves as if they're in this league) are going to appreciate 7-5 being a good season. I'm sure it's some of the reasoning behind the valuation but I think that's off. People tune in to see 5-0 Ole Miss play 4-1 South Carolina a heck of a lot more than they will watch 3-2 Ole Miss play 2-3 South Carolina. And that's what happens when the easy 4-0 non-conference slate gets eliminated.
  20. "$100,000? What was it, a Casio?" @ChiTownDoc, probably
  21. I know everyone is tired of hearing stuff from College Football 25 but damn I made custom conferences and it really drove home the point that this year's playoff format would have been so much better with pre-consolidated conferences (when 12 was the largest size). ACC Big Ten Big 12 Pac-12 SEC If we had a 12 team playoff back then with top 6 instead of 5 conference champs getting in and otherwise the same setup that would have been completely awesome. But with the oversized conferences now this playoff format isn't as great. But don't mind me, just an old man being wistful about what might have been.
  22. Yeah this is kind of crazy. Huge leap in baseball scholarship numbers caught my eye, though. Dellenger said most SEC schools only plan to give out 20-27 but that won't last long if they want to improve their depth. Baseball NIL is strong in a few places but full scholarship still matters for depth.
  23. Holy shit lulz at Roberts and the Dodgers. That was a half toss by Machado. "Something behind it" hahaha. Machado threw that thing about 50-55mph on a bounce. Give me a fucking break.
  24. Will be important for the first round home games.
  25. DeBoer's reasoning was that Moore really loves Alabama football and worked hard to sell DeBoer to players so they wouldn't leave in January. Essentially he delivered the message that if you kiss the coach's ass enough then you can behave however you want. The fact he isn't even suspended for at least a half, which would be the justified consequence for slamming Pavia's head into the turf if the refs had seen it and called it, is absurd. If I'm Vanderbilt I'm sending the clip of that to the league office and asking how that isn't much worse than regular targeting.
