  1. Man I know you want to stay but there could be some powerful ass aftershocks with a quake that big.
  2. I see that you've never been to Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
  3. Man I love Hi-Chews
  4. Man all that traitorous dictator stuff is a nothing burger for the TexAgs crew but anyone who is a good bull old ag that lives to yell "UNCOVER!" at the 2%ers has themselves quite the predicament. Whoop!
  5. Guys he was just really excited about the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, there's nothing to see here.
  6. From /r/canada on Trump
  7. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win
  8. I'm at the point where I'd be highly surprised if anyone in the chat group is forced to resign with the odds-on favorite to resign being the Atlantic writer after their offices are threatened physically and they're threatened legally with the ABC treatment.
  9. Is there some rule in MAGAworld where they have to include about 3 words of Latin in every post? Not enough where they get into any serious noun declension or verb conjugation, lest they be considered a liberal bookfag. Instead it's just enough to excite the pseudo-intellectual incel portion of the base that likes to cosplay as Caesar Augustus.
  10. I also am a map nerd.
  11. Our cheapo is Campo Viejo Rioja Tempranillo at HEB, $8 right now.
  12. Fake, not enough prayer and eggplant emojis.
  13. I love Boulder but Ft Collins is missing that snooty atmosphere that many of the residents of Boulder have, not to mention the insane housing prices in Boulder.
  14. Buddy's wife went to CSU (teacher that moved up the education ranks quickly in CO) and she loved it.

  16. It can't be worse than Dr Pepper Zero Strawberries and Cream. We've had that 12 pack in the pantry for months. It reminds me of a really bad protein shake.
  17. Dirtbags of LBSU too! Fullerton was straight up nearing blueblood territory.
  18. Ignoring @safe sex's James recommendation a little longer. Reread Fahrenheit 451 in an afternoon because it had been about a decade. It really hits hard in the current political environment especaily if you replace TV with social media. Everyone knows that it wasn't really about book burning, but rather about the mindlessness of tv but I think the point of society choosing to be dystopian takes it to another level in 2025. The book itself was written so well in the first half, but you can Bradbury was better at short stories as it slowly loses steam as the plot thickens. I recommend going back to it if you haven't in decades. Last night I started and I got about halfway through it in a couple hours. I can already tell that I'm going to be reading a ton of his novels if they're as fun as his first book. Also continued my quest in rating all of the original 62 Goosebumps books. Last up was Say Cheese and Die! which always looked like a dumb premise to me, but it was decent. After 4 books we're at... 1.) Welcome to Dead House 2.) Say Cheese and Die! 3.) Stay Out of the Basement 4.) Monster Blood I have two more weeks of grad school left so hopefully this spring/summer will be a summer of reading for fun.
  19. To a lesser degree, I'd add Tulane to that list too.
  20. Owen Wolff was fantastic once again.
