  1. I hate to think that race comes into play but it made no sense that Cedrek voted to keep Sai. Cedrek flat out said that he bonded the most with Justin and they had a plan for an alliance to the end. For Justin, the mistake he made was choosing Cedrek for that alliance. It would suck to finally get on survivor and just sit there powerless and be voted out by your best friend on the show. Of course Justin could have pointed out more of Sai's (obvious) flaws but he seems like too good of a person for that. I'm looking forward to Sai voting out Cedrek, hopefully this week.
  2. they're just on a tear to eliminate whatever they can regardless of the consequences.
  3. How exactly would the average voter be able to prove their citizenship status? And realize that Trump is fighting to remove birthright citizenship. If that occurs, then showing up with a certified birth certificate means nothing other than you were born here. And just saying your parents were citizens, and therefore confers citizenship on you, may not be enough. Whos to say that your parents were citizens or their parents?
  4. An 8 year old should be able to handle being left with others for a few nights. Not to mention that it's healthy to create boundaries. Like I wrote earlier I know of one situation of high school kids still sleeping in bed with mom. It's no surprise that Dad finally says enough.
  5. great point. We've learned that outie Dylan is unhireable because of his current connection (severed) with Lumon. Outie Dylan also appears unmotivated and perhaps lazy. The flip side is that he is mad and jealous of innie Dylan. Of course Lumon only cares about Mark finishing Cold Harbor which is supposedly 1 day away. Will they want to rock the boat by allowing Dylan to resign? I would expect they will ignore the resignation request with the idea that they will fire Dylan by the end of the week.
  6. Tough episode for Dylan.
  7. The Bitcoin is gone. Most likely the QR code is the wallet. Bitcoin balances live on the online ledger. They never exist on a wallet in your pocket or USB drive. You basically need a password to get to the coins and the QR code was the wallet/qr code combo. On the off chance the scammers didn’t get qr code picture, I would quickly learn from the ATM company how to transfer the bitcoin from the paperwork they provided her. what was the scam? Was it where someone convinced grandma that they transferred $10,000 to her when it was supposed to be $100. And how they would lose their job if she didn’t “refund” them $9900?
  8. I always like to ask bible thumpers why the first commandment mentions other gods. Who are those gods? I thought they said there was only one but bible says there are more.
  9. I don't know if I would call this common but I've heard some horror stories that a wife allows the kid(s) to sleep in the parents room every night for years. Even to an extreme that high school kids are sleeping in the same room as their parents while the kid has a perfectly bedroom of their own.
  10. in other words, "all of you people under 150K, give us free reign to reduce the govt and we will reward you with no income taxes." This is the illusion of a bribe that will never happen.
  11. given that the district is comprised of 750K constituents, I think 15 is ridiculously small. Take out the staff that do not deal directly with the public, and you probably have 5-7 people who help constituents with questions or problems. No wonder none of feel any connection to our congress member.
  12. Less reported but Edwards was asked why it was ok that the VA or other agencies are firing 20% of their workers but Edwards is keeping his full staff. Edwards' reply was that he needed his team of 15 to fully support his district. Obviously it doesn't take an intelligent person to identify the flaw in his logic that maybe just maybe the agencies also need most of their staff as well.
  13. If or when we pressure Greenland to join us, how would that be any different than if Russia pressured Finland to join Russia for national security reasons? Or pull Estonia back into Russia (obviously the Soviet Union but the same thing.)
  14. A few decades ago I was in a 4A school and my graduating class was <120. No one on varsity sports was a celebrity even if they went on to college. They were just the kid you knew since elementary school and you probably knew an embarrassing story about them. But I also recognize that I was in varsity sports (not a starter in anything) so maybe others felt it was a bigger deal to be on the team.
  15. Justin should have told Cedric that he had been loyal to him since Day 1 and that he couldn't believe that Cedric was changing his vote. And how Sai wouldn't forget it. Then once Cedric voted him out, Justin should have told him to f off. cedric is the opposite of a friend. He's a surgeon and he's this wishy washy about something like a Survivor vote? I wouldn't allow him to operate on me or frankly anyone I knew. I can only assume that he's this indecisive about everything.
  16. Sai is only about herself. Others have to prove their loyalty to her and not the other way around. Cedric voted to remove Sai twice and then decided to remove Justin. He continually supports Sai even when it goes against his game. FYI, it wouldn’t shock me if Sai ends up voting Cedric out next week because she is not going to forget he twice put her name down.
  17. Bessent and Lutnick are speaking to an audience of 1, who is probably watching. They're not speaking to the American or investing public. If they say anything that could be viewed as negative to the current administration, they will be fired or at a minimum yelled at. It's always amazing to me that accomplished people will work in White House Administrations. I see the Sec of Treasury as a step down for a bank teller much less a CEO.
  18. There is very little chance that RFK can create long lasting change in the food industry. Can he disrupt it temporarily? Sure but it will go back to where it is. And all of the chaos will come at a cost to the consumer. I have no idea if food dyes are dangerous to long term health or not. Are food preservatives ok that allow food to last days, weeks or months longer than non-preserved food lasts? I can see the argument that they're not positive for your health but do we have solid evidence that they're harmful?
  19. I do my best to avoid processed foods and would prefer everyone does as well, but I don't want the govt forcing companies to act how RFK Jr wants them to act.
  20. I doubt there are many in America who do not directly or indirectly have their income tied to the govt in some form. Especially in the recent whiplash govt changes. Some folks may be a few degrees removed but the dominos could fall and hit almost anyone. Anyone who is not easing back on personal spending is reckless. Which of course is also a description of the average American spending in general.
  21. Party of small govt telling the food industry to voluntarily remove food dyes from their product or RFK Jr. will force them to remove it. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/03/12/rfk-jr-pressures-pepsico-kraft-heinz-to-remove-artificial-dyes.html Remember the outrage from the right when Michelle Obama recommended most fresh foods for kids, or NYC wanted to limit the sizes of cokes. Funny how quiet they are now.
  22. thats the unspoken plan. When that occurs, some political donors will be celebrating.
  23. Elon is a patriotic American who is ignoring his companies to make america great. Perfectly logical that the American taxpayer should hand over billions more to him to thank him for his time. Hopefully this doesn't occur but there is a chance. But on something that did occur, how normal is it for the President to take time out of his day to film a live commercial for Tesla?
  24. answering myself I see that the Ontario PM Ford has threatened to shut off the electricity if Trump continues the trade war. I don't see cooler heads prevailing from our side, so I could see Trump threatening military intervention if Ontario goes through with it. We're going to end up with a hot war with canada over small amounts of fentanyl.
  25. If we get to the point of Canada threatening to cut off electricity to the states that they're supplying, I would fully expect that Trump would threaten to send in troops as they're harming our national security. With all of this winning, I'm uncertain that I can contain my excitement.
