  1. Don't forget Jr who wormed his plane into the Atlantic Ocean.
  2. I'm near the end of our first bag of El Patio tortilla chips. Personally, I don't get the hype. They need a little more salt for one thing. For a basic white corn tortilla chip, the house chips from Randall's cost less than half as much and taste better to me:
  3. Being Dead is legit.
  4. So what were his best recordings? Seems like Nirvana "In Utero" would be at or near the top, although I much prefer "Nevermind". I'd guess Pixies/Breeders were some of his biggest sellers. Who else?
  5. Jeez, y'all are a bunch of amateurs. Marvin Gaye was the runaway #1, then Barry White, maybe a little James Taylor, possibly some Zep for the more adventurous gals, or even Pink Floyd.
  6. Wait, they took a WR from Iowa? IOWA? They went 10-4 with a great defense and no offense to speak of. Well done, Ags.
  7. I'd take that regional right now.
  8. Dan Quayle misspelled "potato" while judging a spelling bee. He was toast at that point.
  9. Jeez, I'm about to turn 61. I've had a few conversations with the guy. Not my favorite recording engineer in the world, but he worked his ass off and definitely advocated for the little guys.
  10. We usually camp out on the top balcony in front of the bar. We've never had a problem getting a spot on the rail. View and sound are fine.
  11. I planned ahead and grabbed a spot at a few locations. My wife promised to decide this afternoon. If @Bevo will pay attention to this thread I'll post the moment I release the other reservations. He might be able to snag one.
  12. You could stand in line at a Kerbey Lane Cafe or Magnolia Cafe. Or, aim for dinner.
  13. You planning for 2025? Good luck this Sunday.
  14. Renewable energy + nuclear energy now represent over 39% of the world's power generation:

Funny, at my dad band rehearsal last night we watched that very PJ concert. Any idea where "PinkPop" took place?
  16. I'm pretty sure TCAD isn't dead on accurate with appraisals. My assessed value dropped 31% this year. I can buy the idea that it was somewhat overvalued the previous 2 years, but that seems like a "correction" that isn't consistent with market conditions, nor is it consistent with my neighbors' valuations. It seems random at times.
  17. I assume that's a bit, but on the off chance it's not, I love the idea that 12-1 is "worst case" with a loss to us, yet it's a rubber stamp to the playoffs. I can actually imagine that mindset in those dorks.
