Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
I can get that. It's possibly not so much a medical concern as it is a performance concern. One week out, even if cleared, could lead to less than peak performance. There's likely no way to determine how he'd play without playing him. If Arch, his family and the doctors are willing to take that shot, it's not like he couldn't be pulled for Caldwell if things aren't working. Anyway, it's not my decision.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
I'm going to go on the assumption that the concussion protocols are a lot more advanced than "rub some dirt on it" and that risk is minimized if he clears proper medical evaluations.

Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Other Good Stuff
I like that. I'm not sure I particularly hear "country" other than the twangy guitars, but I like it.

Hook'em, Scott. Thanks for setting the standard.

Fucking can openers. They suck, usually by month 6.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Local sports guys interviewed a guy about concussion protocols. Seems like it's a 6-level process, with increasing levels of activity and various cognitive tests along the way. It sounded like Arch being dressed out at practice (but not actually practicing) was consistent with the process. It doesn't mean he'll play Saturday.

The Guitar Pron Thread
Yeah, that would be my concern. We know most MIM Fenders are legit. Not sure about Martin.

Not sure, my wife did the heavy lifting on this one. (I believe it took about 6 seconds.)

What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
I'm pretty sure I just caught an STD from that Skylite Motel drone footage.

Trump’s America
I had a job offer from Electric Boat, so I went to Groton to talk with various managers, etc. Calling Groton a shithole would be an insults to shitholes everywhere. Yikes. Hard pass.

Now Marcia Ball - well fuck ALS
Yeah, I saw that earlier today. Her and Rich Brotherton, same disease, no cure. Sucks.

Concerts you are attending
Letterman is my all-time favorite talk show host. SO damn smart, and snarky without being mean (usually).

The paddle attachment on a KitchenAid mixer does a bangup job shredding chicken, too.

I use those Dorot cubes all the time. Garlic, ginger, cilantro, basil, turmeric. The only one I shy away from is onion because it's just too pricey for the quantity you get. They're all basically 1:1 by volume, so a garlic cube is a garlic clove, etc.

Could be a problem for me. (Color not correct.)

In those days, I don't think I would have considered Dr. J (6' 7") a "small forward". Congrats to Dailyn for sure.

You know what I need? I need a damn good veggie peeler. I could start a new thread, but that seems excessive. Any recs?

That kind of gets at what I was thinking. Regardless of winning records and a 4-0 bowl game tally, if you're an asshole your margins are thinner than if you are a decent person. And let's be honest, the bar for "decent person" among head coaches isn't all that high.

Scott Wilson
I really like the idea of an empty burnt orange seat this season.

Legit question: how much of Herman's firing do y'all think was related to performance and how much was related to behavior?
