  1. Also a female artist.
  2. What connection does Matt Mackowiak have to Tito? Other than UT?
  3. "So, what's not possible?" Championships?
  4. Billy Tubbs. Wait, he's 85? Well maybe not.
  5. I am quite confident you never rooted for Texas before 2006, because if you had observed Sampson at OU then you would be quite indifferent to him as a coach, other than hating his Dirt Burglar guts and his penchant for light blue button down shirts, khaki slacks, and cell phones. Just stop. I can't tell what mix of troll and stupid you are, but those make up the lion's share of your character.
  6. Sampson was 0.648 before Houston, Miller is 0.713, so I'm not sure I agree with your math there, Lou.
  7. Kelvin Sampson is kicking ass and he's almost 70 years old.
  8. That guy is an idiot. Direct quote: "He has worrisome sprays of poor accuracy to all three levels of the field". I mean, that's just not at all true. Deep balls? Yes. Short and intermediate throws? Pretty damn accurate and catchable.
  9. I like Lenderman. He has some of that Whiskeytown/mats vibe going on.
  10. The only reason I am mildly aligned with your point of view is CDC's "top 10" bar. I don't have the data, but I would assume the top 10 teams in D1 probably make the Final Four every 4-5 years (ish). Maybe the top few are a little bit better than that. I'm not bored enough to try to look it up.
  11. Sark places a bigger emphasis on character than most coaches. It seems to be working. The guy got his chance here and elsewhere, left Texas and got booted off UDub. I really see no path forward where Sark would want to entertain that level of fuckery again. He's not the only fish in the barrel (or whatever, water under the dam, you get it).
  12. I'm sure CDC is keen to get your input.
  13. So fire Miller if we don't make the Final Four by 2028, that's your angle?
  14. I understood what you said, I'm saying expecting FF level play by year 3 is inconsistent with what even fully formed programs are doing. Expecting Kansas or Auburn or UConn or UNC to be at that level of play by 2028 is not born out by history for most programs. It's a dumb metric.
  15. 3 schools have made the Final Four more than once in the last 5 years, each with 2 appearances (40%): UConn Duke Houston It is incredibly difficult to make the Final Four every 3 years (or similar), much less starting from a very mid program.
  16. What makes you say that? She's obviously intelligent but nothing about her education or career makes me think she's as good as it gets.
  17. Well, Sark only had 6 seasons as a head coach under his belt when hired him, and the first 5 were at UDub where he took over a program that had gone 0-12 the season before. They finished 3rd in the Pac_whatever North in his 3rd and 5th years, and USC finished 2nd in the South before he flamed out and drank himself out of a job. If Miller is as successful at Texas as Sark has been, I'll be thrilled.
  18. Yeah, this coach has taken them to 13 regionals and 2 super regionals in his 18 years on the job. They're solid.
  19. I don't think my first patent got assigned. We didn't know what we were doing. Unfortunately, the invention (while fascinating from a physics point of view) never led to a product with any real value.
  20. While I wouldn't discourage trying to get a little coin out of his signature, the fact is that he was already compensated for the work that led to the invention. Were he still with the company, they wouldn't pay him a dime to sign (other than perhaps a bonus, which can vary from nothing to substantial by company).
  21. Did it occur to you that maybe he was buying the snake?
  22. I've worked for a small number of great managers, and a whole bunch of "eh" managers. Trev sounds like he's as bad as one could imagine.
  23. Does that mean the company can file the application and (potentially) be granted the patent with celery as a co-inventor even if he doesn't sign?
  24. Again, not an attorney, but I managed the patent portfolio for a public company, and we were VERY loathe to (a) name non-inventors as inventors and (b) leave off inventors. I would start by asking if this confirms you as an inventor, and then document their answer for posterity.
