Lulz. At my son's (Longhorn next year!) senior film festival at his high school. There's an electronic bill with the seniors' picture, future college, major, and favorite quote. They're all quotes from like Confucius, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, etc. My son's, quote "Fire Nico".
My guess is that it would help keep the Kyle/Kamilla alliance secret. Remember. They're supposed to be 4 + Mitch/Kam. Now she can pretend to not know what was going down. In other words, she's not really supposed to be voting with Kyle.
Her comments, mannerisms, and speaking style is exactly like my youngest - also autistic. Rather than using logic and just hitting the target, he would have done the same damn thing rather than admit his initial idea was wrong.
I guess it's probably a good thing that Probst hasn't called me per my audition tape. I know it's a game, but I just couldn't lie in this way. Like Shauhim said, you have all these grandiose plans going in of backstabbing to win a million; however, once you make bonds it's really difficult. I might be able to f over a stranger on Day 1. I wouldn't be able to do it with friends on Day 20.
I'm starting to think that it could come down to Joe, Eva +1 with the "1" having a pretty big advantage. The body language of the jury leads me to believe that the Joe/Eva duo may not be that popular at the end. Unfortunately for Eva, I don't see her winning against Joe.
I get that. Outwit and all. But I don't agree with outright lying. Especially given the bond that alliance had formed.
"I think so and so is going to flip" or pretending to have an idol or telling one side one thing and the other side another, is fine. Creating an outright lie, then having another person "verify" it is akin to Johnny Fairplay lying about his dead grandma. It crosses a line to me.
Just my opinion and I recognize I'm probably in the minority in this.
Wow. I can't believe the "Eva episode" was topped as far as emotions go.
Not a fan of straight up lying about another player. F Kyle and Kamilla. Especially saying, "I love you" as Shauhim is walking away.
Speaking of Shauhim, I was getting some Paul Rudd vibes at the beginning of the episode.
I know this is way out of left field, but I don't understand the security situation. WLF has armored vehicles, automatic weapons, fancy patrols but --- there's a park full of Scars, as well as several buildings they just kind of walk around knowing that there are Clickers inside?
Also, at this point, you make a move and possibly lose at least 3 final votes. Take Shauhin. If he turns, he really pisses off Eva, Joe, and Kyle. He's also prob already lost David's vote as well. Lots of moving parts.
SIL is footing the bill for the family to go to DisneyLand in November. I know I should be grateful but I hate flying AND we're leaving on Nov 22nd. That's TX/ARK and TN/FL. Lame.
They're def running out of easy votes. Gonna get pretty dramatic from here on out. My preference:
Eva
Joe or Kyle
Mitch - isn't he an aggy?
Shauhin
Kamilla
True dat. We're leaving for Denver the next day, so I doubt I'll be able to attend. And, as a former high school girls soccer coach, I meant no disrespect to the ladies.
I know it's an auto correct but, Stafford. Listening to that game on the radio, then seeing some of the TX cheerleaders at DFW or Love Field, is one of my earliest Longhorn memories.
