  1. People here are stating that she may have a history of violence. I've looked for an article that states that the assaulted her HS volleyball players, but all I can find are internet posts about why she was dismissed from her job. Can anyone share anything that states this? I would like to read it. Thnx.
  2. I agree here. I feel like he was being set up to fail when he was given the starting job.
  3. Take a trip with me back to that beautiful day in September when Aggy played Appalachian State. There are so many glorious moments to relive: Aggy seeing the best recruiting class ever in action Hanes King - the human turnover machine Jumbo waddling onto the field to scream at his player Numbed expressions in the stands Announcers talking at the end about how Appalachian State dominated the game, lol
  4. Comes to a discussion board to tell people not to discuss things.
  5. The coach's strategy of not giving Bijan and Roshon the ball in the 2nd half vs Oklahoma State and saving him for the pros is looking smarter and smarter.
  6. ARLINGTON UPDATE: Hi everyone. I'm doing much better and everything is good and we got everything worked out. I'm in Arlington at an undisclosed location and I have to keep this brief so the police, the hospital or my family can't trace my IP address. I am getting ready for the Westlake/Duncanville game and waiting for the Westlake fans to start getting to town to attend the victory parties. I do feel bad about my unfortunate incident last Saturday following our victory over North Shore, and I hope the First Responders are recovering nicely. That should have been handled differently and the restraints have left some nasty bruising on my arms and legs. Duncanville is a great team, so Westlake needs to get up on them early, but I think we can do it. Go Chaps, go! Go Chaps, go! Go Chaps go! Touchdown! Touchdown!!! Go Chaps go! Go Chaps, go! Go Chaps, go! Go Chaps go! Touchdown! Touchdown!!! Go Chaps go!
  7. TreatyOak here. Sorry about my little breakdown/misunderstanding on Saturday. I'm doing much better now and everything is really positive. I'm very sorry about my very minor dustup w the First Responders, and I hope they are feeling better cause I really support them 100%. I can't disclose my current location and I have to keep this short so my IP address can't be traced. I am heading to AT&T Stadium to cheer for the Chaps in the State Championship this weekend. We're going for 4 in a row, baby! Feeling much better and everything is good.
  8. I hear you and this is a good post. But Robinson trashing the man who brought more attention to the league in two years than there had been in the last twenty looks really petty and is fairly insulting to Deion. And yes, these are complex issues of underfunding, state systems hogging all the money (I'm looking at you, Texas and Texas A&M) and systemic racism.
  9. I agree with this. By all indications, Deion heavily invested his own money into the JSU program. and now he claims monies were withheld from him and the players by the administration. Yet, as @Pancho informed us, people in the Black community are disappointed in him for leaving the school and turning away from the conference. Mind you, players from other teams and their coaches disrespected him, claiming that he wasn't authentically a member of the conference (in press conferences!) which is fairly unbelievable. Additionally, his office was robbed and several items precious to him were stolen. He even helped pay for lodging and food when the water shortage forced the team to leave the school. Compare how Deion contributed to his program to say, how Jimbo is robbing A&M, or Mack actively trying to destroy the program during his last few days. I once worked at a small company where the owner provided jobs, promotions, parties, food, entertainment and gosh, paychecks to all our staff. Yet everyone was always angry at her, complained endlessly, blamed and even hated her. As the old saying goes, "No good deed ever goes unpunished."
  10. AN UPDATE ON TREATYOAK FROM THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS AT ST DAVID'S HOSPITAL AND EMERGENCY SERVICES PROFESSIONALS As some of you may have heard, after watching the Westlake/North Shore game, TreatyOak suffered a case a hysterical blindness and some form of a nervous breakdown. His wife, neighbors and law enforcement claim he was raving about Westlake being "robbed and cheated," and was screaming for assistance from the law firm of Thomas J Henry. After injuring several First Responders, he was tazed for his own protection, restrained and successfully admitted to St. David's hospital. Despite being heavily sedated, he was able to break free from his restraints and was last seen at the intersection of IH35 & HWY 71 trying hitch a ride to AT&T Stadium in Arlington to "cheer on the Chaps in the state championship game." He is considered a danger to himself and to others. If you have any information about his whereabouts, please do not try to intervene in any way and contact 911 immediately. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated at this time. The concerned staff at St David's Hospital
  11. That makes sense. North Shore Westlake is a better game than Texas/UTSA.
  12. You're confused about why people on a college football discussion board are discussing the year's biggest story in college football coaching?
  13. Thanks for sharing. Goes back to my point about so much hatred pointed at Primetime and the obstacles Black people face. Prime transforms the program at much personal financial cost, then moves on and is "betraying his community." Coach Jumbo secures a fortune for accomplishing nothing and, "he's a smart guy a with a great agent."
  14. You made lots of good points here, but to some degree, every successful coach or business person is his/her own personal brand. What I respond to is Prime's masterful media abilities to use his personal brand to make his program a success. Kids want to play for him-look at the responses to his Tweet asking for players. He is changing the recruiting game and is way more fun to follow than the usual dregs I've mentioned in previous posts. Like you, I think he's good for the game.
  15. There does seem to be a double standard for Black and White coaches, and we see some of that reflected here. Primetime is demonstrating to us what a Black man in our society faces. First it was going to Jackson State. Then it was the horrible decision for the 5-star DB to go to Jackson State. ("OMG, he's not going to get the crappy coaching he would get from the shitty, nameless, FSU coaches. Instead, he will have to learn from one of the greatest NFL players of all time. The horror!") Then it was shade thrown by players and coaches of other SWAC schools. Remember, the "he's not SWAC" talk? Like anyone paid any attention to the conference before he came. Then it was leaving Jackson State. How can he betray them? Forget that he donated half of his salary back to the school and now reports are surfacing that the school withheld the money he was promised for selling more than 30K seats. So even while he was creating transformative exposure for them, they still screwed him! Then it was going to a White college. Heck, even I wrote here it was a "bad culture fit," so I'm guilty, too. Then, it was letting the hopelessly bad players from CU's 1-11 squad know that better players are coming. "OMG, he's telling those young men the truth! What a monster." Forget that while at USC, Pete Carroll would play the highlights of the incoming stars to the current roster, just to scare them out of complacency. What is interesting is that a lot of the most vitriolic hatred directed towards Primetime is coming from within the Black community. I'm not sure what to make of that.
  16. Fair point on the wins, but fatass Jumbo looks and acts like he should be working the night shift at a call center and his 5-star players are fleeing his shitty coaching and management. How did this stupid, petty loser ever get his job? Oh yeah, Aggie. Turtle reeks of inauthenticity, incompetence and arrogance. The college coaching industry has an amazing ability to keep average, untalented retreads like him employed.
  17. I absolutely love everything he does. He is authentically unique and knows how to connect with young people. Compare him to all the fraud CEO bastards like Turtle, Jumbo, and other bullshitters who never accomplished anything themselves. Check out the video of him after a game talking to his 5-Star DB like he was his father. Or check-out his send-off from his current college that someone posted here earlier. And screw all the pussies on Twitter for calling him out for telling the current Colorado players exactly how life works. Those posters must all work at Starbucks, cause any job worth having is competitive. Get better or go somewhere else.
