  1. The diesel Kubotas are beasts for commercial and farm work. VHT transmission is great in those applications vs a CVT transmission. That said, Kubota introduced a gas powered, 50hp, SxS with a CVT to compete with the Polaris and Mules, etc.
  2. Here’s a bolt on bracket that strengthens the bumper to frame joint. I’ll do something like this eventually as I’d like to get bikes and/or the blue goose back there. https://mount-n-lock.com/safetystruts-bumper-brackets-prevent-rv-bumper-
  3. Most travel trailer rear bumpers aren’t designed to hold the cantilevered load of a hitch rack with coolers or a bike rack and bikes. Weak spot is typically the welds from the frame to bumper. The dynamic loads from all that offset 2 or 3 feet from the bumper bouncing up and down can rip a less substantial bumper right off the RV.
  4. I swapped some incandescent courtesy lights out to blue led and put some blue led rope lights up under the gunnels. It was fairly basic so what are you asking?
  5. My ears are ringing from here.
  6. Better question is what is their Surly name?
  7. What brand of trailer tires do y’all have on you’re RVs? Grand Design puts Westlake radials on their new builds and some sizes don’t have great reputations, usually called China bombs on the GD FB pages and forums. We have put 2k on them since August and I have considered going ahead and upgrading to Goodyear Endurance in the same size (ST225/75R15 LRE).
  8. Circular error probability zero. Impact with high-order detonation. Have a nice day.

    AMMO THREAD

Nope, mostly young white guys, 25-35 from what I have seen. I have never waited in line but I have driven by the line before 8am to get some breakfast and then shown up between 8 and 8:30 to go in. Everytime I've went in that early I have found something that I wanted. My local Academy just puts all the ammo on a roll around shelf by one of the registers and once inside you line up at that one and make your selection before moving to the register.
  11. Barrel of a Barrett sticking out of the front window of an armored Raptor isn't something you see everyday.

    Getting old sucks

Should have just killed her and blamed it on a one armed man.
  13. The performance that really broke up the band ...
  14. Any part or all of this
  15. Framing/Rig builders hatchet. Roofing hatchet typically has a movable pin to set shingle spacing.

    Starlink

Off grid solar powered application mainly as access point for security system. Battery storage to provide 150W power for 3-4 days of solar downtime would be prohibitively expensive. Cellular solution with 20+mbs speed is <20W.

    Starlink

150W is a non-starter for my application. That's too bad.

    Starlink

Any idea for power consumption of receiver and router setup? Looking with respect to an off-grid location what is going to be setup with solar/battery system.

  20. TAC allotment for RS has been 51/49 comm/rec forever. Who cares how many days it takes for each sector to catch their allotment? Texas gets the short stick vs eastern gulf due to the way they have count fished on structure, reported catch and shitty fishing weather when the season typically starts. We only get 6% out of the rec catch allotment vs Florida with 45% of the rec allotment. My main beef is guides fishing out of the rec allotment and getting the extra days to do it. That sucked. The 2019 plan is better regarding allowing the states to manage but the path to get to that point sucked over the last 10 years.
  21. Some overstatement here ^^^ but my biggest beef is guides fishing from the rec allotment vs commercial, especially when they push for catch allotment on the recreational side.
  22. Purse seiners. I believe they used some of the pogy fleet to chase schools of reds off the beach even using scouter planes to local large schools. https://gulfseafoodnews.com/2016/02/28/missing-redfish-documents-blackened-history-of-gulf-icon/
  23. This is a good one. Had two paper plates at my Dads when it hit and was wishing I had bought some during a store run the Saturday before. It sucked trying to conserve water and cook meals at the same time.
