  1. Well shit I thought you lived in Motown. I’ll take note.
  2. Jesus fuck I posted that after Allen was getting fouled from behind and was whistled for a charge and then their guy drove for an and 1 and we didn’t touch the guy. The refs were atrocious today for both teams. So yes fuck the refs and fuck your CR posting contrarian ass.
  3. Again fuck these refs
  4. Dude I’m not blaming the refs. They’ve been wildly inconsistent for both teams. They suck in general. The flop call was a joke. And we are playing like shit this half. Not time to panic though.
  5. Fuck these refs
  6. Jfc just let these teams play. Absolute trash refiing
  7. Snowshoe was great. It’s where I learned how to ski and I went there every winter as a kid.
  8. My dad grew up in West Virginia. He was offered a scholarship to play basketball at WVU. He’s never heard of Motown.
  9. The enclosed bridge? I think it’s a 92’ and would be over 10 million. One of its sister ships is here in my marina. I’ll try and get a picture.
  10. Closer to 10 million if you want a new one. The red one is for sale for 8 millionish and the brand new one behind it is a 71’ Garlington. The picture doesn’t do that one justice. It’s gorgeous with incredible lines. Not sure on price but it’s likely similar.
  11. Every private boat here has all that nice tackle. It’s insane what we spend on that stuff but it works and it lasts. The priciest part is those LP electric reels to run the dredges. I about fell over when my captain told me how much we spent on them. Also I do not have it but that boat and pretty much all of the big boats here have recently installed commercial periscope sonars. You can mark bait of course but you can also pick up fish from 1000 yards away and differentiate between sailfish and marlin. It’s crazy. And will only set you back about 150,000.
  12. @hugethat’s the new Miss Behavin first boat in the background
  13. Smooth Move, 74 foot Spencer I got to fish 3 days this week, gorgeous boat if you ignore the red hull and fast. Easy cruise at 35 knots and fast cruise at 42 knots which we were doing in the video. I think it tops out at 48. Mezzanine seating has air conditioning blowing out of the backrests. I think I could get used to it. It’s on the market for about 8 million. IMG_0245.MOV
  14. Fished 3 days this week on the big Spencer called Smooth Move. Crazy coming in at 42 knots. I’ll put some pics on the boat fanatic thread. It’s available for around 8million if anyone is interested. Marlin fishing is still good but the sailfish bite has fallen off a cliff. IMG_0240.MOV
  15. Yeah they just got a new one in the 70’s. Freaking gorgeous boat. I was right next to them in the marina few days ago and should have taken a pic.
  16. No idea. I’d guess it’s because of Covid. Everyone down here struggled. The marina had 3 restaurants leave but they’ve all been replaced. The real bummer is Sancho’s up in Manuel Antonio closed. The guy is still running the Paddle9 tour business so I hope they reopen at some point. A friend of ours that owns a couple of pizza places would like to open it back up for him so we will see.
  17. Stay in Los Suenos. 99% of Jaco is riff raff and junky. And you are a 15-20 dollar cab ride to Jaco for people that want to party.
  18. So the girls tournament, Pescadora https://pescadora22.catchstat.com, was Friday and Saturday. Fishing has slowed down a little but Friday I fished on a 70 foot Weaver named Southern Pride and we caught 1 blue and 5 sails which was good enough for 5th place on the day out of 40 boats. Beautiful boat with a 34 knot slow cruise. Saturday I fished on the boat Fish Tank 65 foot custom Hatteras and we caught 2 blues and 6 sails which was 1st place for the day and won all the daily jackpots. This video is one of the mates in the “jacuzzi” live well. im in Jaco now to fish a couple of days in Los Suenos on a 74 foot Spencer. https://www.marlinmag.com/spencer-74-smooth-move-pictures/ I’ll post some pics of that here or on the boat thread. 19. The Marriott in Los Suenos is a nice property and has a golf course. There are a few really good restaurants there in the marina. You would also be a 10 minute cab ride to Jaco which is the party town and also has a ton of good restaurants.
  20. Yeah but also you can pay an extra 40 dollars for a fake negative test. I’m not letting anyone stick that thing up my nose.
  21. The W is supposedly amazing, but it’s up north and I’ve never been. I’m fishing this morning but I’ll reply when I get in this evening or tomorrow. My first thought is look into a condo or house.
  22. We’re gonna need to drill some holes for the rod holders, but that’ll work.
  23. Ah I missed this. Makes a lot more sense.
  24. Um, we use 60 or 80 pound leader for 500 pound blue marlin. WTF?
  25. What midtown said. as of NOW before you fly in you, and everyone with you, will need to fill out the CR Health Pass form online. That will give you a QR code that you show when you enter the country. It’s easy. Whatever airline you are flying should email you the info on how to do that but if not I think we discussed it upthread or just ask me here. Pretty sure you can only do that within 72 hours of your departure. ‘Going home and again as of now, you’ll need a negative test. Whatever hotel you are staying at will hook you up with that.
