  1. Love the self-imposed term limit promise. Not to nitpick, but Beto does take a decent amount of PAC money. It’s not corporate PAC $ though, which is what’s most important, IMO.
  2. I’ll ask the other attorney in my office. We just got a GIANT sign yesterday. It’s about 6 feet wide, at least.
  3. Some of y’all give the electorate WAY too much credit. The confirmation won’t cost the GOP shit in the midterms. General public: “Dems were really going after this guy. He ended up on SCOTUS. Dems must have been wrong about him and just being assholes I guess.” Thats the extent of analysis from the morons that comprise a huge swath of voters. Most Americans couldn’t name 3 SCOTUS cases if asked, and y’all think that some “judicial temperament” or”forced cloture without comprehensive vetting” shit is going to resonate with them.
  4. Unfortunately/fortunately, I have settled on the wagering model, known as “The Brisketexan System”. Basically, whatever he would hypothetically predict will happen is what I bet on. Only real disappointing result so far was Roy Moore losing.
  5. Finally I can get paid on my Kavanaugh confirmation PredictIt shares.
  6. Lol. I was wishfully thinking that you weren’t actually making ANOTHER “LOOK AT WHAT ORRIN HATCH SAID” post. negged for the “poors” comment, because, it’s lame AF, not accurate, and ignorant to think that you need a subscription to view WSJ articles.
  7. Attribute the quote that you pasted.
  8. Let me help you. Military personnel sign up and assume the risk that they may lose their life. Also, I’m not even convinced that some officer would make the choice to save $ over a person, but keep doing you I guess.
  9. Wait, so hypothetically, you would choose dogs and hoses over billions of dollars in damage?
  10. And he still supports the death penalty for the Central Park 5, AFTER they were exonerated on actual innocence claims.
  11. Maybe, but then again, these facts were known to Flake when he initially announced a Yes vote.
  12. The senators told her. I’m assuming that she edited/revised them for style, etc.
  13. Michael Bromwich is elite in these types of cases.
  14. There aren’t 2 guys willing to come forward and claim that responsibility. If there were, we would know their names.
  15. To elaborate: Mitchell wasn’t given the task of “go price this woman is lying”. Her task was “ask these questions that would make us look bad for asking.
  16. Mitchell is asking the questions that the GOP members have requested her to ask. It’s not really her personal belief or even professional judgment on display. No one said that she was iny need to be “neutral”.
  17. I’m withholding judgment until I see her question Kavanaugh (if she does).
  18. I think you mean that because Fox News is against confirmation, Trump will take their advice and act accordingly.
  19. I keep seeing conflicting accounts of who will be questioning Brett.
  20. Who gives a fuck? Swetnick did state that she saw BK in a line outside a room waiting his turn to run train on a drunk female.
  21. Why doesn’t the GOP leadership want an investigation? That’s what I’m asking.
  22. No clue. Give us your theory. Also, make sure to give us your explanation for the scenario where BK/the GOP have his nomination withdrawn without having the hearing.
  23. Polygraph questions are always “yes” or “no”. Not sure why the need to point that out.
  24. Yes, and yes.
