  1. North Shore tied with Clear Springs 14 up at the half
  2. Highland Park gets 3 on its opening drive. No sign of Filsaime
  3. It would be wild to face a dude in the Big 12 championship game and him turn around and commit here a week later
  4. Ryan-Abilene on Ballys McKinney-HP on CW33. Check out Filsaime plus McKinney D has 3 or 4 other legit dudes WFAA isnt advertising any game this week. Will see what games I can find on YouTube closer to game time. Reminds me of when I was a kid riding in my Dad's truck on Friday nights scanning the radio random games
  5. Hopefully Arkansas jumps in the carousel and drives up the aggy price
  6. Horowitz will be a great donor one day
  7. The league pretty clearly has a vested interest in giving Steph Curry everything he needs to be a star, including his assfaced goon buddy that makes him feel safe and tough on the court
  8. Fat Gary probably takes that job for free 1. 90 minutes from FW and Austin-keep his dentist on Bellaire Dr etc 2. All the shiplap his wife can consume 3. Can be big man in town again if hes moderately successful 4. Spite. Most importantly spite. Play TCU every year. Erase any trace of Briles from campus Winner of the Big 12 will get in the 12 team playoff. Its probably the easiest path ATP
  9. UPS/Fedex got fat during covid and had to overhire and now revenue has returned to precovid levels and they are scrambling to cut costs. UPS payroll broke decades of mafia control and installed a corporate friendly Boston fake tough to push through an extremely shareholder friendly labor contract. Fedex had to come up with something. They are in the process of consolidating Air/Ground operations to try save money. What used to be someone's assignment is someone else's assignment now, and the guy whonwas supposed to communicate that got laid off. Service suffers but consumers generally don't care who delivers their shit. If it shows up great if not get ready for a headache.
  10. I quit about 8 months ago. Menthol 100s brand didnt particularly matter. The best was this cheap brand called Crowns that only lowbrow shops would carry for less than 5 bucks a pack that were just as good as Marlboro Black
  11. Ben Johnson is the coach behind the Lions success. Speeches are great but not as important as scheme, playcalling, and the offense/QB knowing its shit. Campbell has a 6 year 40 million dollar deal. I wonder if he were to ask for a raise would Lions management let him go
  12. If Patterson wants to coach again I bet he goes to Baylor
  13. Growing up I always heard the game wardens up there made Wise County sheriffs look like Andy Griffith
  14. I've met OBrien he's like 5'4 and it pains me to have to take his side here
  15. They call him The Wanderer for a reason...
  16. We're gonna fuckstomp this team and then Tech will probably scare the shit out of us
  17. Im not sure we know these tournament games count towards the overall record
  18. Nix and Penix have been around so long the college game has slowed down for them. Its like a 26 year old putting up numbers in AAA, the college game is slower and it took them 5 years to catch up. Sometimes those guys make it at the next level but the safer bet is the guy that's young for his level. Ewers is 20 years old and still adjusting to college game speed, but has much more room to grow
  19. A lot can change one way or the other over the course of the next 3-5 games
  20. Veteran running backs on their 2nd contract have less value than 10 years ago. Cheap running backs in the draft still have value. 2 were drafted in the top 12 and 7 on the first 2 days. Those guys fell 10 spots at most, but Brooks is gonna drop from potential 1st RD completely out of the draft? His injury is so risky no NFL team will touch him but simultaneously we believe he'll be good to go week 1 if he comes back to Texas?
  21. It happens. I guess you don't keep up with the draft. Teams will gamble on upside 2014 Jaylon Smith 2nd round 2019 Jeffrey Simmons tore his ACL in predraft workouts. Drafted 19th 2021 Caleb Farley drafted 21st overall despite extensive injury history 2022 Jamison Williams torn ACL in the SEC championship game. Drafted 22nd overall
  22. Is aggy a better HC job than Michigan or USC?
  23. Brooks has basically nothing to gain by coming back and a lot to lose. He's got 10 good games of film out there and was the top RB on most people's board before he got hurt. That's enough to for some team to roll the dice on a potentially blue chip player with a Day 3 pick. Roschon got 800k guaranteed for signing as a Rd4 pick. Brooks does not come from money and Surly paid him 3500 dollars to tear it up for Texas this year. Now what if his recovery looks more like Neyor's or Michael Gallup. His 2024 film is what he'll be judged on, not this year. Even Blake Corum who has been posited as an extremely optimistic "he did it so everyone should be able to" does not look like the same back this year as he did last year. If his knee isnt full speed in 2024 he can get paid and nurse it on IR in the NFL. If he's not fullspeed at Texas he may be SOL
  24. Triston Casas 40 more walks and substandard 1st base defense was more valuable than Josh's premium 3rd base defense and otherwise identical offensive numbers, in the eyes of the Boston loving baseball writers
