  1. @UTPhil2006 and the other Texas real estate guys/gals - have any of you heard of Guerilla Investments? They made an offer on a house we have listed for sale that is Subject To. I have heard of these but have zero experience with them. From the details in the offer, it sounds like a good deal. Good deals make me suspicious though, on the other hand we ReFi when rates were super low, and any rate these days will be almost twice as high Thoughts?
  2. What standard? We have some really shitty posters that only seem to be here to start fights or spread disinformation. They stick around. That is true. But maybe “we” don’t need to be that way? Or at least not as much? Friends give each other good natured grief / ball busting in small amounts and that’s fine. You do it too much and you’re just a jerk. When a thread / board devolves in to trying to respond with snarkiest / shittiest comment just to get some +rep - and there are more people in the community like that because they were attracted to those types of discussions, it can make a pretty shitty environment. I see a lot more of that around here now. I’m guilty of it myself. I’ve tried to pull back at times. It’s the enshitificstion of this board, and our society in general. @Dbeasy I don’t mean to direct this at you as if I you’re the problem.
  3. I was never on HF. I think I was on Shaggy for quite a while, but I was not aware of the Lorree thing people are referring to. Can someone fill the rest of us in?
  4. I see Florida and Alaska but can’t make out the rest.
  5. It can only pump out about 1/4 of what we use per day. I think it’s supposed to last about 3 months full. Of course, if we’re in Spr is only source mode, most of use aren’t going to make the list of ppl important enough to get it. Most of us probably won’t make it.
  6. From what I’ve read, $65k a year is a better pay out than most people’s 401ks that retired in the 90s
  7. Yeah, I’ve wondered about it too, but I’ve come to the conclusion it’s much more anxiety based than Uncle Rico based. The football dreams started after high school, and the test dreams didn’t start until after college. There’s nothing happy about them. I think it’s just that we spend 6 or 8 years of our lives with that being one of the most time consuming things in our lives, and while there was a lot to enjoy, we (or at least I) had a lot to stress over too. Guess the mind just isn’t done stressing yet.
  8. Exact same on both of these. And I wake up feeling terrible and be like I need to be medicated. I don’t think I’ve actually gotten to play a snap in any of my dreams the last 20+ years.
  9. Went on a few dates w a girl a UT that grew up probably having her parents do everything for her. She put pop tarts in a toaster w the wrapper still on.
  10. Damn. Nice. Do you need another friend?
  11. That sounds a little dramatic. I was hungry less often, but I don’t think I would have stopped eating I got mine through low T center. BMI was 30. Costs me 200 insurance not covering for what would normally be a month, but first few weeks are at lower dose so it was 6-7 weeks. Started ~2/10/24 I had some diarrhea and some pretty rough heartburn but they both went away. I was planning on doing a second vial (one more month) but I lost a solid 10 lbs during that time and so far my eating habits have remained good and I’m down almost another 5. Would recommend 5/5 eta - now I just need to find a way to convince my wife to start taking it with it appearing it was solely her desire and I didn’t care either way.
  12. I hope you’re not a math/eng major from UT. That would be embarrassing.
  13. I don’t follow this all that much, but every time I pop in there are dozens of new videos of drones that anyone can get from Walmart blowing up expensive tanks or other expensive or stationary devices. Are we going to come out of this with a shift away from expensive tanks and other ground units?
  14. Drums in your living room played by an 8 year old.
  15. If you mean it took too long for someone spewing hate speech to get kicked, then I agree.
  16. Yep. Good updates and keeps the good parts of the original.
  17. Bad heartburn has stopped being a nightly occurrence as of about 2 weeks ago. Still get it, but manageable with tums and Prilosec. Wine is an absolute no go at this point. I think it also gave me the shits, but that seems to have calmed down. Definitely eating less. Getting some more low impact exercise now that my calf has healed. Still having issues with my body trying to sabotage me between my back and pec. But I was 206 the second week of February when I started, and my weight this week was 196, so I’m happy for the progress. Probably stopping after one more month, hopefully the eating habits will have set in a bit.
  18. The arrogant Jedi that didn’t realize that they were being played by Darth Sideous to be turned in to his personal police force, who was also trained by his Sith master years before that? You’re going to take their word on the Sith being extinct for a thousand years? The whole point of the PT - which they actually did a decent job of, and the CW really did an excellent job of - was showing that the Jedi order had become of broken. They had the means to save themselves, but their arrogance got them in the end.
  19. Maybe their mission is freeing the other clones on Tantis that they’ve discussed multiple times in every episode and is the reason they are on their “hero quest” to learn the coordinates and gather allies? 😁
  20. I disagree. I’ve read all the sequels, and like any large book series there are some that aren’t great, but overall they were very good. I liked most of them more than God Emperor, personally
  21. Y’all have a place to buy seeds from? I’m assuming there much better price/variety from somewhere that isn’t HD e Lowe’s online
  22. We were camping in brazos bend last night. Got heavy rain around 6p plus haul, then a break until sometime around midnight I guess. Crazy amount of lightning. On our way out today, not far from the park, we saw a power line pole snapped in half and tbe wooden fence farther off the road looked like something ran through it. Wild night.
