  1. I just see the limiting of NIL or any iteration thereof taking the business of college football/ hoops right back where it was. Not sure why Campbell would want that. I think some of this narrative is being made up because it fits old ways. Like I said, his spending doesn't reflect a desire to limit things.
  2. How do you know that is his objective? He has spent bigtime leading up to this. and before it goes there, I am not a CC fanboi, other than he puts his money where his mouth is. He has wanted some things for the program in the past with which I strongly disagreed related to coaching hires.
  3. Unless Cody Campbell, among others, decides to turn his back on Tech, they aren't running out of money like some posters keep alluding to in this and the NIL threads. Update your Tech profile in your brains, and I don't mean that as a slam. It's just different from what many folks are thinking.
  4. top of the draft order... well, OK, not there either. more of that meh shit.
  5. I have multiple friends who use VPNs to get "in-market" MLB games and they don't get blocked. They are still subscribing to MLB.com, it's just using the VPN to gain access to teams they want to watch.
  6. Wasn't sure if you were serious, so I joked back. Hell, the Tripels an the Voodoo Ranger varieties alone on this page squash your notion. That Fin du Monde is plenty, also. All that being said, there are times for big boy beers and there are times for session beers. Ain't no shame in that.
  7. Dumb question amnesty requested: proton free- Proton plus- Nominal amount per month Is the free worth a shit if I am basically streaming baseball( fuck MLB!!!) and occasional pegging videos? Before someone lights me up on the question about free, I have used a free ad blocker for years and it works like a charm. Is it reckless to even consider the free one for VPN? I would actually subscribe to MLB.com if the VPN works.
  8. I like em together, because they are so naturally intertwined. Among the first things I wanna know when I'm going somewhere is what eating establishments to seek out or what the local food offerings are. I travel about 26 weeks per year, as in flights/ hotel/ meals. Add in that surly has operatives all over the fucking planet, and it's a great mix, IMHO.
  9. The Snowdrift Porter in the Fall is decent by Leinie.
  10. Jordi Molla as Jaime made me laugh after I did not recognize him until he took off the shades. Hey it's Diego from Blow!
  11. Just watched E9 this morning Liked it. Very powerful. Loved the layers of deception and risk, and infiltration of those both Bail and Maave trusted. Now Andor has his mech Chewbacca.
  12. SuperKarens are mobilizing at this moment. "C'mon Fluffy! Get in the damned car!!!"
  13. Zero. It hasn't mattered for a lot longer than the past 2 seasons.
  14. Very last shot in Ep8. Happy fucking Mother's Day. Lol.
  15. What's the risk? Massive convenience store shut down?
  16. in comments, "Too many student drivers."
  17. I'd settle for a face to face match-up this playoff season. Love seeing Stank do well. It's beyond surreal with the Moose.
  18. The Pistons era crossed over from the 80s to the 90s. So did the Knicks. And so did the Bulls. Hell, the Rockets defensively were pretty damn salty during that time. Re: the last few posts, I just had no idea that today's NBA was the golden era of the sport. Evidently a lot of other people have missed it as well.
  19. You called out a player who was basically a role player in the scheme of that defense. There were three other players that were vital part of those Pistons teams that were on the NBA all defensive teams, in Mahorn, Rodman, & Dumars. Meanwhile three of the last four years the NBA MVP looks like an oversize fucking bartender And the namesake of this thread is doughy as fuck. Pardon me for laughing at your assessment of defensive players, especially with regard to conditioning and whether they could play today or not
