  1. That depends on which team calls the TO, I think. The substitution stuff has been badly fucked since they started keeping the O from putting the ball in play but letting the play clock keep running. I've also noticed quite a few games in which it appears that the play clock stops on 25 until the ref steps out of the way.
  2. Not a "play", but I get it.
  3. Not sure when - or if - the substitution rule changed, but it used to be the case that when you subbed in, you had to stay in for at least one play. If that hasn't changed, the refs missed it. I wondered at the time, but it wasn't even mentioned.
  4. Nah. Like that midget hooker, just a Little Behind.
  5. 20,000 12-oz plastic bottles, filled with BULLSHIT. Could be used as souvenirs or tossed onto field in the event of BULLSHIT refereeing.
  6. Jeremy Hills on 3rd & Longhorn was exactly right: Punch them in the mouth. When they respond, punch them harder, punch them faster.
  7. Y'all are correct about "aggy". I mean, what the hell, "Agricultural" only has one "g" in it... we prolly oughta make it "agy".
  8. Pithy Gif may be the best band name of the day. Fine work.
  9. Maybe, but he's two years younger than MensaTom.
  10. I can't believe summa y'all skeert of a bunch of fuckers who need refs to help to barely skate by their home Tech and lose to Colonel Reb. We got this. Not gonna speculate on actual scoreboard, spread, or yardage... but we got this. Hook'em
  11. Sark needs to work the refs like Smart does... well, not that hard, but more than he usually does. It's the SEC way, it seems. He also needs to make a point, in the pre-game meeting with refs, of Smart's habit of coming way out onto the field to argue. In the GT game, he was obnoxious as hell. I had a hard time believing he wasn't at least warned, and if I was that sideline official I think I'da told him the next time he came 10 or 15 yards out, yapping, it'd cost his team fifteen yards.
  12. You've spelt "whoop" incorrectly.
  13. I was disappointed GT didn't pull out their Two-point Trickery after the first score. Hit that, and game's over. Last game of the season, why the fuck not? My favorite version is XP kick formation, sideline goes nuts, yelling and screaming, arms waving, NO NO NO NO! Holder and wing blocker stand up, kicker runs for sideline. Ball snapped to holder, wing and kicker head for EZ, holder heads same way, has option to throw to either of them or run it. Seen it work, woulda loved to see GT give it that do or die trying.
  14. If you ever tried to steal a few mudbugs outta some old lady's crawfish pond that was guarded by geese, you'd know that ain't Brother Goosby, that right there is Bull Goosby.
  15. WW2 Surplus Jeep. On an Uncle's ranch in New Mexico. Summer I was 10. First time I drove on pavement was when he let me drive into town to pick up the mail. Learning to get out of a skid in gravel prolly saved my life a couple of times since. My kids all learned on standard transmission old Volvos.
  16. 31-0 was my thought at the time. I put it down to our being so fucking high on the way the game was going that we couldn't get out of our own way. Still... quoting Super Bill: It don't make a shit. Hook'em
  17. Entertainment is the Committee's true goal. The most entertaining outcome for the playoffs will sell the most advertising. From an admittedly Texas-centric perspective, it looks like the greatest entertainment value is for Texas to knock off Georgia in the SECSECSEC CCG to "even" the season, and then for the two to meet in the Grand Finale for the rubber match, preceded and accompanied by relentless advertising selling all sorts of electric vehicles, alcoholic beverages, insurance, and oddly-named drugs with side effects including hair loss, blindness, erectile dysfunction, cardiac issues, and sudden death. Texas wins the CCG.
  18. You've spelt (and capitalized) "aggyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys" incorrectly.
  19. Not long ago, I was thinking about next season and the need to replace most of the OL. It had me a little bit concerned. Goosby's performance against aggy went a long way toward relieving those worries. Hook'em
