  1. Great meme, but why is that in cloak room?
  2. I'm just kicking myself for not going to Pinehurst this year for the Open, I'm there several times a year but I just can't go in good faith until my kid gets back from deployment in two weeks. I'm taking him to play there to celebrate his upcoming promotion to Captain before he leaves NC for his next posting. Heck of a win by Scottie, that course looked so hard.
  3. Hahaha agreed. That big ol volume has been taking up space in my living room for years, unfinished, because I can't seem to find room in my traveling bags. I do have it on Audible though. All 66 hours.
  4. Memory lane. The kid as about to be an Army Captain. And I miss my guad guide, Scott Graham. Colorado here we come. Missing dad today. Go Spurs.
  5. Excellent. Know any guides? Digging into my recently inherited fly rod cabinet. I'm not sure why dad loved Reddington so much but Ive got just about every model from 3-12 weight, about 20 of them. I plan on giving some to my boy.
  6. I doubled my position yesterday in anticipation of next week’s split bounce. I'm already up a LOT from my original entry point so time will tell if it was a good call.
  7. When my son gets back from the sandbox and moves to Colorado Springs, he is going to learn fly fishing. I'll need recommendations for guides and rivers somewhat close. Any ideas?
  8. I know it might not be the proper forum, but yesterday, I got the CAD assessor to drop my valuation by $70K, even below the independent appraisal commissioned by UWM. I'm not sure if it was my compelling PowerPoint deck, the cordial promise that I was going to tie up his whole afternoon presenting it in excruciating detail, or the fact that his original valuation was higher than Snoop and Willie combined on April 20, but he thanked me profusely for making such a compelling case. I think he is simply weary of unprepared kooks showing up to whine and grind axes. Don't count out Wulaw’s lube game either, my title company appreciated his people’s work. And he patiently absorbed my inane ramblings.
  9. He is a fan favorite, but he doesn't generate as much discussion because his game has been flawless lately. And his reaction, even to bad shots, is even-tempered.
  10. I want to be this guy. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/VY28b5TE3Esz2A95/?mibextid=UalRPS
  11. I buy Greenberg turkeys specifically for gumbo.
  12. I do that while sitting on my boat in the Louisiana marsh, miles from anyone else. Or when camping.
  13. The Cleaner on Britbox is one of the cleverest shows in memory.
  14. They should call for people who served with him to come forward and corroborate the lies. A honey pot for liars.
  15. I've noticed the same thing over the years, having seen them at lots of venues I suspect it's a woodlands thing. For me it was better last night but I was also 20 feet from the mixing board/sound techs. And I cranked my hearing aids up because Im damned near deaf. The horns sounded great. I'd have given anything see them at Red Rocks though. Also that waif in the grey skirt on the right was like a human firedancer for the whole show.
  16. Truth. No really, I snapped this in the parking lot at Truth in the Heights a few weeks ago.
  17. My 12th-grade religion teacher had me read most of his stuff, same thing happened to me. Funny sidenote, a lifelong friend’s son was gifted a letter from his great-grandfather (times 5)’s collection as a high school graduation gift this past week. Historical and rare family keepsake. I didn't have the heart to mention that his ancestor, a former US Congressman, Cabinet Secretary, and prominent slave owner, is credited in most Civil War history books as a leading secessionist instrumental in destroying the Union before serving the CSA. He was in Jefferson Davis’ inner circle, and General Sherman’s army was ordered to show no restraint in burning his place. Judging by Facebook comments, its clear nobody else caught the significance. Or they didn't care.
  18. Good jam. Mellow setlist. Enjoyed it greatly. My wife and I figured out it was our 19th show in the 13 years we've been a couple.
  19. I'll bet. That must have been epic.
  20. It was July 31st. I met my first wife/former mother of my kids at that show. I too was stoned to the bone.
  21. Tomorrow night. Hoping they start with this.
  22. True for me. I'm even a brk.b shareholder now.
  23. A lawyer I know is saying that if a person on bail is convicted of a crime in another jurisdiction that’s grounds for revocation? so theoretically all Jack Smith has to do is file motion, and Trump would be reminded into custody in Florida? I know that sounds highly unlikely and is wishful thinking on my friends behalf. This is the same guy that had himself kidnapped and attempted to have himself ransomed when he was a teenager.
