1. You’re a good egg. My dad’s younger brother died last night, and my wife’s mom, who is suffering from brain cancer, can’t remember her name. Such is life’s fleeting. Find joy where you can.
2. Looks like it’s Eden Prairie instead. Looks nice. Low $700s for a 4/4 3,650 ft2 house on a half acre, the subdivision is basically a peninsula on a lake. Here’s what I imagine summer be like
3. Would have been funner if anyone else had won, but I ain’t mad at Rory and Lowery. Rory: rich enough to wear the swoosh only Shane: walking billboard Trainer: not even a shirt sponsor I always love to see underdogs win life changing money.
4. So how is Minnetonka as a place to live? More specifically, near the high school?
5. “I don’t have time for your logic today!!!!”
6. Ok, who is she?
7. Peja Stojakovik enters the chat.
8. I think Patrick regrets throwing that 5 wood up in the wind on the 18 approach.
9. Come on, clench that cervix, Mere!
10. When did they let women start playing golf? /misogyny /sarcasm
11. zepol87 unless you're on the early ferry, drive up to the chimes on the hour. It's really cool and loud when they ring, and a great view of Avalon as well.
12. See any foxes and deer on your golf cart rides to town?
13. Good. You have my number, lets connect this weekend.
14. Closed on my sale this morning, the buyers should be getting hand cramps right about now. I thanked my agent for protecting me from myself.
15. Unless Rory pulls a Mark Chumura he will always be one of my favorites.
16. Barbara must have been a great wife. Or maybe Tiger just had certain appetites.
17. You're exactly right. It's an act of insanity. I know guys at the halfway house fresh outta the pen who aren't on a winning streak that hit their knees in gratitude every morning. One of the 3 aforementioned suicides I mentioned was a billionaire’s daughter who could have taken daddy’s jet anywhere in the world to get away. Those of us who remain are the ones who have to deal.
18. I’ve likened my alcoholism to a football team that punts on first down rather than face the music and attempt to advance the ball for another set of downs. But in my mind, I really want to be the greatest show on turf, tomorrow. Does that make sense to anyone else? Recovery is like 3 yards and a cloud of dust sometimes.
19. “From the outside” - if I’ve learned anything from the 3 suicides from people very close to me that have died by suicide in the last 10 months, it’s that things are not always what they seem. One of my closest friends died 3 Tuesdays ago. We had talked on Sunday and he seemed in such a great mood. He took his 4 kids fishing the day before and they had posted pics all over social media of what was seemingly the most perfect, idyllic Saturday spent at the family farm/private lake. Then somehow Monday night/Tuesday morning he went to a house that he was flipping and ended his life. I was out on my boat yesterday and was remembering all our fishing trips just wishing we could have had one more where I had the courage and foreshadowing to say “what’s really going on with you, my friend.” But I couldn’t have seen it coming.
20. I needed this. Highly motivating. Gonna strap in and do work.
