  1. Actually, there are four: Notrefuckindame, UConn, Sacramento State, and Merrimack. ND is probably working hard behind the scenes to schedule all three of them for 2026--you know, birds of a feather, and like that.
  2. It's the same now as it always has been: You watch and hope that ou, aggy, and ND get boat-raced. I mean, they get their shit pushed in in supremely embarrassing fashion on national TV. I don't ever want to see any one of those cocksuckers ever win another game. Ever.
  3. In the NIL era, you have to manage your roster and make hard decisions. You pay NIL money for performance and there's just so much NIL money available at a given time. Loyalty to the maxed-out 3-star "good kid from a good family who bleeds orange and gives us 100% every time" is a luxury you can no longer afford. NIL has made it a two-way street now: If you perform, here's a check; if you don't/can't perform, hit the door, kid, we'll bring in somebody who can. Cold and harsh? You bet. Necessary? You bet.
  4. Yeah, they constipate me too.
  5. Naw, as I recall, we got fucked by a couple of Big-12 opponent-coaches' calculated, intentional, let's-fuck-UT poll votes. (Lookin' at you, Art Briles, you cocksucker. Texas #5?! Bullshit.)
  6. This today from The Mercury, Manhattan's daily fishwrap: "Klein, 36, is currently the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M, where he has been the past two seasons. Prior to that he was the offensive coordinator under Klieman. He’s a K-State icon, having led the Wildcats to a Big 12 title as quarterback in 201." I love exploring history's backstories--you learn something new every day, like the fact that Klein's hiring in 201 A.D. ranks right up there with Lucius Annius Fabianus and Marcus Nonius Arrius Mucianus serving as consuls in the Roman Empire, while in the Hellenistic world, Philip V of Macedon was defeated by a coalition of Greek states at the Battle of Chios after his failed siege of the city. Heavy-duty stuff indeed.
  7. There's precedent, all the way back to the 1500s. Only back then they called them Crusaders. Kasper Gutman: "What do you know, sir, about the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, later known as the Knights of Rhodes and other things?" Sam Spade: "Crusaders or something, weren't they?"
  8. Late to the WTF party. Never mind.
  9. If Jimbo can't get hired this cycle, he may be unemployable. (Or, maybe there's just nobody left out there as stupid as aggy . . .)
  10. Latest word is it's a 50-50 chance: He either will or he won't.
  11. Maybe he can help us by telling Sark all he learned from playing aggy earlier this year. Or was it last year? . . . I forget.
  12. In Texas, it's "Ten dollars and other good and valuable consideration."
  13. Reminds me of that old Henny Youngman line: Guy catches his wife and his best friend in bed. He says, "Bernie, I have to; but you?"
  14. Three pretty good restaurants have gone tits-up in this location, but I can make one work here.
  15. The jokes write themselves . . .
  16. Amen, brother.
  17. I guess putting it in your media guide is like the aggys putting it on the tacklebox wall, but Ole Miss only has one (1960, and it's really just a shared/half), according to the official listing from the NCAA webpage: 1963 Texas AP, FWAA, NFF, UPI 1962 Southern California AP, FWAA, NFF, UPI 1961 Alabama, Ohio St. AP, NFF, UPI, FWAA 1960 Minnesota, Mississippi AP, NFF, UPI, FWAA 1959 Syracuse AP, FWAA, NFF, UPI 1958 LSU, Iowa AP, UPI, FWAA
  18. I've noticed that PK coaches a whole lot better when he has 4 or 5 fast, athletic NFL-caliber upperclassmen in the secondary. Somethin', somethin' . . . Jimmies and Joes . . . somethin'.
  19. S&O has it opening at -10.5. Money coming in on misery drove it down to -7.5. Pribula may play, bum ankle and all. You might actually be on the right side of this thing. Hope you win outright.
