  1. do you think appointing matt gaetz to the role of attorney general is in this country's best interest? if so, why?
  2. damn, immortal is persistent if nothing else. this has to be like his 20th username he burns through just to write this stuff that only a child would find effectively incendiary...try as he may. it is amusing that as big a letdown as the election was, he and johnny sack seem to be the only people who were truly broken by it. christ they are pitiful. the only disappointing thing is he hasn't held up his end and posted any more pics of his wife's butthole since the original username. too bad.
  3. it just cracks me up because it has been on every single price increase notice from entertainment subscriptions services to software services to retail, etc... your service sucks. you're extracting maximum profits because your previous price theory models that preceded covid got thrown out the window and the market is inefficient in crony capitalism.
  4. pre-tax corporate profits: $2.4 trillion in Q4 2019 to $4.08 trillion in Q2 2024. 68% increase in fewer than five years. from 2019 backwards, it would require you to go back to Q4 2004 to see that level of growth in before-tax corporate profits controlling for the financial crisis (as i did for covid). What took 15 years previously achieved in 4.5 years. after-tax corporate profits: $2.12 trillion in Q4 2019 to 3.41 trillion in Q2 2024. 60% increase in fewer than five years. from 2019 backwards, it would require you to go back to Q2 2005 to see that level of growth in after-tax corporate profits controlling for the financial crisis (as i did for covid). what previously too 14 years achieved in 4.5 years. "in order to continue to provide the same excellent service....."
  5. stunts/twists are obviously a nice way to mix up the defensive line rush/run defense and add some confusion to the offensive linemens' reads. but stunts/twists are not a static thing...there are variations of them including fixed vs. read stunts. there are significant risks associated with them in both the run game and passing game but definitely moreso in the run game. in the run game, the biggest risk is losing gap control and putting a lot of pressure on your linebackers. it has the potential to make a well executed inside counter that would go for four yards go for 20 yards, etc... it can also have a big impact on run fits and totally undermine them. they are generally considered to be significantly more effective in defending/rushing the passing game and rely on poor communication and discipline from the offensive line to create big defensive plays (the type we see from campbell and williams routinely). the biggest risk in the passing game along with the run fits is that the rush lanes can get wildly out of whack and breaking contain becomes especially easy. it's extremely risky against vince young, cam ward, johnny manziel, etc... free ten yards every time because one linebacker can't cover everything. similar risk as an all out blitz that misses and then jalen milroe is running 60 yards down the field by himself. for the most part, the last two years, PK has had the luxury of having a much better defensive line than the opponent's offensive line straight up and can contain the run game and make the passer uncomfortable while running a base defense. pk is an extremely risk-averse d.c. and if you are just way better than the opponent, then there is no need to roll the dice and increase the risk of giving up an explosive play. pk is pretty consistent that if it is 3rd and 8, he is going to flood the zone and count on his 3-4 rushers creating pressure. sometimes that is very frustrating because some all out blitzes in key moments can wreak havoc but he currently has the dlinemen (and last year) to keep it relatively straight forward and limit the downside potential.
  6. so THAT is what @TreatyOak looks like with his face unsmudged.
  7. that's awesome man. as for the list vis-a-vis austin, a few things surprise me, a few don't. first, the complete omission of uchi and uchko from one star all the way down to recommendations is startling to me. i don't understand how that is possible. same for pasta bar. second, having three bbq places get a star and not include franklin is something. i like both hestia and olamaie but a little surprised to see them both awarded a star. barley swine with a star and dai due with a green star both seem about right. there were a few "recommended" that I would have given bibs and vice versa. they really seem to love bbq.
  8. love it, i may fly up once you set the date.
  9. you guys all need to calm down and take a breath. seriously.
  10. i mean, it appears she sent him the photo so... either way, i am counting on @shadow_operative2.0 somehow getting his hands on it and posting it in ipihb. sooner than later preferably.
  11. i wouldn't worry too much about disappointing your girlfriend last weekend. you'll be showing her the door after tonight anyway.
  12. lol, wtf. i just looked this up and that dude was legit jumping around celebrating like a complete dipshit. unless he is secretly jackson dart's brother or godfather or something, what the hell?
  13. i agree the availability of Green and Jackson have a material impact on the quality of opponent arkansas presents. that said, no disrespect to either of them but i think every game we have remaining in the regular season hinges on our star and which version of him plays. we are better than our three opponents and win reasonably comfortably with a solid quinn. but georgia quinn makes it a far more equal playing field against them.
  14. we owe these cocksuckers a borderline erotic beatdown. hopefully hero quinn makes the trip and not evil quinn.
  15. 100% agree. it's not even consistency from game to game for quinn, it is offensive series to offensive series. the same guy that played in the first quarter of the game also played second quarter. but he never showed much of anything worth a damn against ou, uga, or vandy outside of two great passes against vandy (first td to moore and 3rd and long to bolden) and at least yesterday, he occasionally threw some really, really nice balls.
  16. georgia's offense when not given the ball deep in the other team's territory on turnovers is fucking shitty. beck is 20x worse than quinn. they got inflated because their defense played the game of the year against us, quinn played poorly, and beck hit two critical passes at the end of the third. other than that, georgia is not special and their offense is downright mediocre. florida suffered a lot of injuries in that game as well. they were missing their top three defensive backs against us. but we did what we should have done (and what a great team does) in those circumstances...we fucking plowed them. and that is very encouraging.
  17. quinn drives me completely fucking nuts but it was good to see him get into somewhat of a rhythm and deliver some balls with confidence with near perfect protection and against an extremely depleted defense as we would hope he would. he was still frustrating in his routinely throwing off his back foot even with a completely clean protection situation but this was obviously the best quinn we have seen in a long time. he threw some absolute stinkers (miss to bond on first drive, horrible throw on the second golden td, the should have been pick deep in our end) but he threw some of his best balls of the year as well. unfortunately, this game doesn't signal that quinn is suddenly ready to be effective against a above average defense that can pressure him given the state of florida's team but it does signal that he is back to making the occasional throw with confidence and he's gotten some of his intermediate accuracy back. he made really good reads other than the near pick throughout the game. if we get this quinn the rest of the way, we should make it to the playoff. if we can get a quinn that stops throwing off his back foot falling away for no reason, has confidence to throw strikes even when not wide open, and one that is slightly more mobile, we could contend for the national championship. the offensive line cannot be perfect every play...if he can help them out occasionally, potent offense. and the irony of the game last weekend is that moore has been a fucking clutch stud all year bailing us out left and right...and then he gets two big plays that are substantially easier than all those other plays and he fucks them both. second drop on the td pass from quinn was perfect...he just flubbed it. he earned a pass for those two based on his play the rest of the year but he needs to tighten up his shit a little.
  18. My friend who offered to take me to today’s derby’s seats suck ass. But better than nothing I suppose. IMG_2167.mov
  19. disappointed that he didn't work out. had high hopes for him. silver lining is that it does convey some serious accountability standards within the program. the drop against msu was particularly awful and he's not really seen the field since.
