  1. The softball 4 plex at Max Starcke Park in Seguin. The stall had really short walls and door. I could see over the top when I sat down. Buzzards were circling that place after a 3 day tournament. The place also had a peeing wall, similar the Scholz Garten at one time. I guarantee you that the women's restrooms are 10 times worse than the men's at any location.
  2. I have been to both of the below and I have always bought edibles. You will need to check in and have your drivers license scanned at both places. Cash or Debit Card only. Planet 13 is great.https://www.planet13lasvegas.com/ Its like the Apple Store for weed. It can be a little overwhelming at first and can get crowed. Employees are great. Pretty close to the Strip but not walk able. They have a good number of products made in house. If you sign up through their website, you can get some discounts. MedMen is closer to the Strip and is across the street from The Virgin Hotel.https://www.medmen.com/stores/las-vegas-the-strip-paradise-and-harmon/ It is much smaller, but has similar product. Employees are friendly and helpful. MedMen also have discounts from their website as well.
  3. I coached baseball and girls softball in all different age groups. I always time scripted my practices based on the time limit for the practice. Parents appreciated the organization, and the players enjoyed staying productive. My basic outline for a 2 hour practice for 8-10 yr olds was: Warmup, stretching, throwing form, long toss, relay drills - 15 min Group station work (4 players per group) hitting/tee station (preferably in a batting cage), infield station, outfield station, base running - 60 min Situation work - Full infield and outfield, base runners with coach hitting (Use those same groups to rotate in and out the players running and infield/outfield) - 30 min A fun, competitive game activity to end practice - 10 min Practice review with team, and give them some sort of homework drills to do at home - 5 min Every 3rd practice would be a scrimmage format with live pitching, but station work was always a part of practice. When I didn't have enough assistants, I involved willing parents to help with the stations and I would flow between stations giving feed back. Some coaches added a pitching/catching station. I always tried to run pitching and catching by asking a group of 4 to come before practice, or after. I made sure to involve every player at least once during the season in the before/after sessions. My main goal was to teach overall fundamentals, have fun, and never coach anyone out of playing.
  4. Not sure if this is an "old thing", but I'm mid 50's and I have heard this song 100's of times over the years. I listened to it the other day, and started thinking about all the people in my life, and now I can't hear it with out shedding a few tears.
  5. Pretty good looking boot. Not like my old Red Wings, but these do have a leather sole.
  6. We used to hunt in that area outside of Talpa. The cabin was an old Santa Fe Box car. Great spot for deer and duck.

  11. 1974 Texas vs aggy, Horns scored 14 points in the first minute of the game. Glorious! I remember being cold the whole game, and I just looked it up and I can see why. Wind chill of 20 degrees. An aggy band member's tuba came apart during the Half Time performance and was laying on the field. Their band had to march around the tuba as I remember.
  12. A year ago in Vegas for George Strait. Our seats were 4th row, upper arena. Great view of the stage, plus his stage is round, so you are never really in a bad spot. Before warm up act comes on, a couple about 50'ish and their college age daughter and probably boyfriend sit behind us, each 2 fisting 24 ounce Bud Lites. Loud as hell, hear them say they are from Lubbock, "George Strait woooooooo" every 2 minutes. Opening act starts, all 4 stand up aggy style. Not a single person in the whole upper arena standing up but them. Now they are spilling beer, kicking chairs and start getting into it with the people behind them. Security called, they sit down. They threaten the couple behind them. They stand back up again, security called again. All 4 eventually thrown out and never even get to see George play. Never could understand it paying all that money to act a complete asshole. You can take some people out of Lubbock, but you can't take the Lubbock out of some people.
  13. Did Jew really think she was going to get away with that?
