Desler and Buka are a force on the right side. If we can figure out a good combination on the left - Biro/Taylor or Biro/Gally. Owen and Dani are good pieces in the middle. Uzuni does not work well as a left winger. Unfortunately at this point, BV and Uzuni need to be battling to see who should start at striker.
  2. He's the new City of Kenosha librarian.
  3. I watched the documentary the other day. It was done pretty well and explained the feuds between the Kent Black and his nephews and between the Schmidt family. A couple years ago, I was talking with Kent Black at ACL Fest. He was there doing some barbecue demonstration. My wife walked up and introduced herself. Upon learning who he was and not knowing the difference between Terry Black's and Blacks', she mentioned the nice new barbecue joint that had recently opened in Lockhart. I can't imagine the look on my face when she said that. Kent went on to explain how the nephews had essentially screwed him and their grandmother by banking on the Black's barbecue name. I had to explain what was up afterwards. After watching the documentary, my wife said "now I don't feel bad about what I said to Kent Black - he's a real asshole."
  4. Both Western ratsnakes and Great Plains ratsnakes have a bar across the eyes. The Great Plains ratsnake has an "arrow point" pattern on the top of the head where the Western ratsnake does not. Great Plains ratsnake: Western ratsnake: Here's a good picture of both: I can be tough to determine for sure. I thought yours might be a Great Plains as well, but I think it is a Western.
  5. Yep. Looks like a juvenile Western ratsnake.
  6. Four Seasons (1981): Alan Alda movie about three couples in their mid-40s. We watched it last night after watching the Four Seasons (2025) series, which was a retelling of the movie. The movie was okay with a strong storyline. The Tina Fey written series was much better - mainly because the eight hour series allowed for better character development and didn't seem as rushed.
  7. He also has very distinctive face and eyes. Unless he was wearing different colored contacts, he's pretty recognizable.
  8. I was in the Fabulous Thunderbirds How Do You Spell Love music video filmed at the Austin Opera House. I only saw the video once on MTV and its apparently been erased from the earth. We were there for a couple hours, the length of a movie, so it counts.
  9. This has turned into a high school PE locker room. I don't believe any of you. Back to funny pictures.
  10. She's either going to try too hard and make mistakes or pitch her best game.
  11. Coach ain't going to lose this game with the ace on the bench.
  12. Are you sure you're not thinking of Green Anoles? Sometimes they are green and sometimes they are brown.
  13. Closest really good barbecue is at Butter's in Sinton.
  14. Might be the best summary: Atwood wanted to play ball, wanted to make a play, made a difference in the game at a time we were trying to take her out of the game. ~ Gerry Glasco
  15. No matter how cool your car is, you can't look cool with a GoPro strapped to your head.
  16. There is a good chance is a coachwhip. A Western ratsnake would have a discernible pattern on the shed, which i can't make make out.
  17. I think that would have been the call absent the ump interference.
  18. I don't either, but I also don't see the tail. I don't see markings on the skin that reassemble the markings of the venomous snakes. Looks like a Western ratsnake to me, but that's just a guess. Post it on Central Texas Snake ID Facebook page and you'll get a definitive answer.
  19. Can you get a picture of the underside? Specifically the anal plate? Dual rows of scales beyond the anal plate would denote non venomous.
  20. Well this is going to be stressful. Hook'em!
  21. Gold spoon is redfish crack. Bone or red/white super spook, red/white or chartreuse/white paddle tail on a jighead for trout and redfish.
