  1. I've considered it. But I don't love the idea of heaving the heating element right under the brisket. The BBQ forum guys like them though. So there's that. But the idea of something a little bigger for holidays and large gatherings seems like it would be great.
  2. This thread has me looking at these $300 electric food warmers on Amazon. I'm thinking that a pan of water on the bottom rack would keep things pretty even on the other three racks. The price is really tempting. The warm setting on my oven is great. Rock solid at 145. But the shutting off after 3 hours is not ideal. It'd be great for the holidays too. Link
  3. I was thinking about it a bit. It's almost like the aggy roller coaster. Sometimes, they have to win a little, get their hopes up, then their revisiting inevitable defeat is that much sweeter. The never defeated, just ran out of time thing fits well here too, as does his affinity for things that happened in 1939. TLDR; Trump is aggy
  4. Preheat the cooler by putting a container of near boiling water in there for 10 minutes or so. After the briskets rest, wrap them (and the paper) tightly in foil. Don't just put a towel over them. Put as many towels (loosely) over them to fill the airspace between the food and the cooler lid. edit: Anastasis covered it. I posted before reading his post.
  5. I think rice is added to the filling to keep it from being runny.
  6. So much FUPA in that picture. @blacklab would have much to say.
  7. Think of this post as the trailer for the meal I may have as a main course alternative for Easter. This is either going to be incredibly average or last-meal worthy. Saw it on the internet today. Gumbo Pot Pie. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
  8. He's just waiting for his ремни для ботинок.
  9. I read just over 8 million earlier. Trump has 4 million plus truth followers. By comparison, he has over 80 million follows on Twi'x. To quote Gordon Gekko, it's a dog with fleas.
  10. It seems not an ideal way to do it, which drives my assumption that that's exactly what's going on. Habba-Dabba set the whole thing up.
  11. But doesn't the SPAC buy his shares and then take the company public itself. I saw the six month hold mentioned above, but I thought he cashed out when the SPAC acquired T/S. I'm like a different Donny here, out of my element.
  12. . . . with oversight from the SEC, which is an odd twist. Hiding in plain sight?
  13. *Serious post: I have the most basic understanding, but don't the spac investments go into escrow until the acquisition and IPO of the acquired entity is complete? The fact that he already has applied to sell his interest seems like it would put a pretty definite timeline on the "dump" part of this equation. Seems like any benefit as an investment vehicle will be quite short lived given the market share/size of T/S. Clearly, there's a reason I'm not in this business.
  14. Or get them to repair/recone the speaker.
  15. Not traditionally. But consider the beneficiary. And, like a makeshift dildo, can't anything be used for attempted money laundering if you're dumb/brave enough? Also, if the lead-in, dog-baby-talk to that earlier post wasn't a tell, I was being quite facetious, even after the "In all seriousness line." It was a statement based on an assumption of bad faith among all those involved.
