  1. Also saw a comment that Mike probably knew Howard from working the parking lot at the courthouse. Not that they hung out, but certainly exchanged greetings from time to time.
  2. Exactly, Jimmy was willing to die for Kim at that moment. He just wanted her out of there, hoping that she understood what he was doing and thinking - "just run, and don't come back".
  3. Enjoyed him in Thief, great early Michael Mann flick (totally forgot Willie is in this movie as well).
  4. I've also seen a few people say she could be Ed the Disappearer's wife who has taken over the family business since Ed died... Plausible. Also a lot of hubbub about a new tease that shows a brand new, recast Jeff the cab driver... and this one, all the clips are from previous episodes except the bookends, who's hands are those with a wedding band on? Everything means something. oh yeah
  5. Only in bumfuck Taylor could a joyous celebration of our nation’s independence with a barrage of fireworks send an entire rookery of egrets crashing into power lines, knocking out power to most of the town. Christ… and I’m goddamn hot!
  6. $20 kiddie pool from Walmart for the win, now leftover catfish and shrimp tacos with slaw and Cajun cocktail sauce, I love this country!
  7. Electric skillet set up using my gas grill as a table, filled with oil and fry away. Would have used my Turkey fryer but was low on propane, too lazy to go get a refill.
  8. Nothin’ fancy, just a pre-4th fish fry
  9. Pretty solid month, rock movies all month and celebrating the 75th anniv of Roswell with some sci-fi flicks later in the month. Jack Lemmon three-fer tonight with Some Like It Hot (I know they show the hell out of this one...), The Apartment and Irma La Douce. Followed by an Alex Cox double shot of Repo Man and Sid and Nancy early tomorrow morning.
  10. Haven't been here (yet), but a friend who lives outside of Hillsboro raves about this place, looks pretty damn good to me, in Woodbury. Harrell Burgers and More
  11. Any of you yay-hoos feel like sweating your balls off this weekend, my band is playing down at Krause's Cafe in New Braunfels on Sunday from 2-6. Lotsa Czech and German polkas, waltzes, some old school C&W (both kinds!), western swing, shit, we had a practice last night and wood-shedded "She's About a Mover", we'll throw that out there as well... Guaranteed to get your toes tapping and probably self-combust by about 5:30 or so...
  12. Sitting at Midwood Smokehouse in Charlotte right now before heading to the airport. It ain’t Texas bbq but it’s a’ight. Definitely get your money’s worth
  13. Have a copy of that on CD, great Westwood One broadcast, from their farewell tour (um hmm)
  14. Lost Colony Brewery Hatteras Irish Red kept extra cold with my official South of the Border koozie
  15. Wicked Weed Dr. Dank Diuble IPA with tangerine and passion fruit (11 hours on the road, I am thirsty!)
  16. 26 Acres Brewing Reptar Juice Hazy IPA, Lucky 12 Tavern, Nags Head NC
  17. My best friend and I did the same thing. He had an older sister that played keyboards in a band, and they would practice at his house, so there was a drum kit set up as well. We would "play" along to stuff like Magic by Pilot, The Boys are Back in Town, etc.. Pretty dorky now, but a lot of fun then.
  18. Love this group. That dorky old white guy on keyboards? He also wrote Off the Wall, Rock with You, Thriller, Stomp, Give Me the Night, Yah Mo B There and Sweet Freedom, among others...
  19. And a few Brits cashing in...
  20. Headed to the OBX in 10 days, will definitely stick to seafood.
  21. In honor of all those who gave their lives for our freedom, thank you. This is the story of my great-uncle Billy, who I never had the pleasure of meeting.
  22. "Hey Heidi, I know he sucks, but you should stop fucking other men." Guest Lobo was there?
