  1. As in breakfast, biscuits and gravy style sausage gravy? Hell. Yes.
  2. Am I the only person that opened this thread this morning and briefly panicked when I saw Page 404 in the header tab? Not sure if that means I need to drink less or pour one now to calm my nerves.

    Colonoscopy

Wow, SA, you were committed to that 'clean as a whistle' mantra, weren't you?

    Getting old sucks

I have only hair metal rock and grunge to blame...

    Getting old sucks

I'm seriously considering going for an evaluation for hearing aids. Picking up conversation in a noisy environment just keeps getting harder and harder, but the memories of old farts with ringing feedback that I can hear but they couldn't from my youth gives me pause. Can anyone speak to the progression in technology in recent years? If so, please speak up nice and loud!
  6. This seems like a good place for this. I got a phone call yesterday from my natural gas provider (Piedmont) asking if I was interested in their Green Edge program, which essentially boils down to me paying an extra fee to them each month that they "would use to help the environment and reduct my family's carbon footprint." Based on our usage history they said I could start for as little as $6/month. I don't think so, scooter.
  7. That is definitely NOT bitchin.
  8. I hope your doc drew blood to check your electrolytes while you were there. Extreme high or low levels of things like magnesium, potassium or calcium can have, how should I put this, less than ideal effects on your heart.
  9. Show me where I said it was purely political. Of course the decline in magazine use in general was the biggest contributor, but if those changes were an attempt to broaden their base, they did so (to some extent) at the cost of alienating a sizable percentage of ther actual remaining base.
  10. Apples and oranges. Google says that the first SI cover to include a black woman was Tyra Banks in 1996. She's been on three, and there have been others. I remember the howls of protest either on this forum or on its predecesor when the swimsuit issue with plus size models came out. Personally, I didn't have a problem with it (I like big butts and I cannot lie). However, a pretty dude in a bikini? I'm gonna have to draw the line there. You guys can flame me all you want, but the "Go woke, go broke" cause and effect appears to be rather consistent, whether you like it or not.
  11. Perhaps there is some correlation?
  12. This thread makes me glad it's not worse. 5-ish inches of snow in the Nashville burbs, another 1-2" expected by end of day, temps in the low to mid teens all day. Not supposed to get above freezing again until Thursday. School already cancelled tomorrow and Wednesday, I suspect they will be out all week. 4WD vehicle parked at the top of our steep-ish driveway, so I can get out when I have to - which I am sure I will at some point. You gotta love being 'essential'!
  13. That's just flat out bragging. Perfect for around here. Just be sure to include a firearm with the accompanying picture.

I work in the arrhythmia industry (pacemaker/ICD sales) and work with some finominole EP with very high success rates in A-Fib ablation. I highly recommend the procedure, assuming you aren't older than ArmyBrat. I even know a graduate from the EP fellowship program I work with here that is in practice in Denver. PM me if you want a name. 15 years ago I would have said it's too new, no long term data, etc. That procedure is legit if you are in the hands of a high volume ablater. Do your homework, but do it.
  15. Quality humblebrag right here. Well played.
  16. Almost to page 2 and we aren't even halfway through January. 2024 is going to be messy...
  17. Again with the farting into the mic thing. Girl has issues.
  18. FIFY
  19. I watched a shuttle launch from out my bedroom window in grad school. In Gainesville. Hard to miss.
  20. That's promising. I've never had a refined palate, but Eau de Flinstones has always been impossible to ignore for me. I've seen many others mention it as well on the intertrons.
  21. This is the correct answer. https://circus.fsu.edu/about-us
  22. Any hints of multivitimin in the aftertaste? That has always been my deal killer with all things Dickel, despite REALLY wanting to like them. I drive within ~ 2 miles of their distillery a couple of times a month.

You need pictures, Shooter. X-Ray pictures. MRI pictures. Lots of pictures. Sorry man.
