  1. It's fantastic. Very enjoyable.
  2. We also watched the first episode. We liked it. Has a bit of a Slow Horses vibe. Will continue tonight.
  3. I read that the drones cost about 500 bucks each and that they launched 117 of them, meaning 64k in drones did seven billion dollars in damage. I keep thinking that our 15 billion dollar aircraft carriers might be a foolish "Maginot Line" type investment.
  4. In my opinion, it was his 2006 knee replacement surgery that stopped him in his tracks. It didn't go well and he was in a lot of pain afterward. He was a different man/coach/recruiter. His knee replacement in 2019 went much better.
  5. This is what they are building at the site of the movie "Field of Dreams."
  6. I saw some of the Twitter folks saying Del Toro rode cowardly, but I'm guessing he just didn't have the legs. He's only 21, and yesterday was a brutal stage.
  7. Unbelievable stage today. Simon Yates came out on the very mountain that Chris Froom whipped him on in 2018. Carapaz and the pink jersey either couldn't respond or completely screwed the pooch, tactically.
  8. Speedgoat passed away in 2022. His obituary is one of the greatest things you'll ever read, as is the accompanying photo. https://www.gosanangelo.com/obituaries/sas021074
  9. TELL me you're not disrespecting Rowlett High School on purpose.
  10. He's 81 years old. He's probably lost about 3 inches in stature over the last 50 years.
  11. I hear Olson is available.
  12. That is the kind of reaching for breadcrumbs that shows the writer has absolutely nothing. Nothing. "Well, both the recruit and his mother have blond hair and like spaghetti and we have several players who like spaghetti and who have blond hair so we should have an in."
  13. I am amazed that he did not die. How is that possible?
  14. That new Florida guy's list reads like a lot of wish casting. Also, we are on the brink of an all-time defensive class.
  15. Watched his HUDL for about the 10th time last night. He is electric. TELL me there's a better RB in America. You can't.
  16. I remember watching Lance Link and Mr. Ed. And people ask me why I am the way I am.
  17. I am mentally scarred for life. You will be, too. Just ... what the hell?
  18. It's real .... and it's spectacular.
  19. You will be deeply saddened to learn that she and Carson Beck broke up. Afterwards, she dissed Carson to the media like the dog he is. She like, sounds like, like a winner. Like. "No! Nobody likes him! And he wouldn't talk to people." Cavinder said when asked whether Beck had any friends. "He had like an ego. He's like, he wanted people to stop and like take a picture. He would like flip off people in the bar and I'd be embarrassed. Like I'm sorry. Like I'd be like very embarrassed and I was like, oh my god, how rude." "I broke up with him and like all this cheating (expletive) came out. I had no idea. I didn't break up with him because of cheating. I broke up with him because of like who he was." She added.
  20. I looked it up. According to CHAT GPT, UT has FIVE billionaire alumni. More interesting to me is that UT is ranked 13th in the world in terms of alumni with Ultra High Net Worth (30 million dollars or more). Harvard is number one with roughly five times as many UHNW individuals as UT. The other schools in the top 10 are most of the Ivy league schools, as you would imagine. None of the schools ahead of UT is a football power except one .... USC, which ranks 11th in terms of UHNW alumni. A&M is not in the top 25.
  21. Who among us hasn't had 21 pounds of weed shipped to his house? https://www.kait8.com/2025/05/09/man-arrested-after-21-pounds-pot-shipped-home/
