  1. Company that acted like a cartel with its anticompetitive practices may have the US government become a shareholder. That's just super.
  2. I guess we assume it's pretty harsh on the nfl in general?
  3. Maybe I've been wrong about this whole Church thing. How long does this programming take? Do they assign homework? I think I can clear the calendar on Sunday for my wife and I.
  4. What, you don't think Trump has built a reputation as a follower of Christ and his teachings, or about empathy to his fellow man? Not sure what you're been paying attention to. And when I think Republicans, I definitely think about their rich history taking care of the lower income groups with access to affordable healthcare, housing, and education. This is totally off brand!
  5. Lol. I was thinking Elmo just experienced his first "dance" at the Gold Cup in the 90s.
  6. Fucking hell. Summer Rental? I think I watched that movie no fewer than 50 times as a kid. Saw it again maybe 2 years ago and thought it held up. "That's a good base. That's a GOOD base. You gotta do these things in stages".
  7. A. Men. If you don't like movies like this, I'm not sure you like the movie going experience Just saw it at the Evo Belterra IMAX, which is really just a big screen with great sound, rather than what I consider real IMAX. But it was loud as shit and the visuals were awesome. Just a total attack on the senses. Need more movies like this.
  8. So POTUS is demanding INTC CEO resign, and telling TSMC they need to take a 49% ownership stake in the company. Things going great!
  9. Do you think Upper Westside is fucking Pamela Anderson on the side?
  10. That one got me pretty good.
  11. Gave proof through the night, that we still had our flag.
  12. I definitely read that as a relative Face Raped somebody and had the thought, "I had no idea Face Rape was the official name for it"
  13. I'm used to putting in all my investment info Schwab sends me in turbo tax. I have no problem with that. From reading the NEOS website, these are marketed as "tax efficient" with dividends 60/40 long term/short term gains. And some of the dividends being a return of capital. That sounds like a pain in the ass to have to manually account for adjusted cost basis, long term vs short term gains, etc. I'm curious if it's all automated and the reporting classifies it all correctly Don't think this was meant for me
  14. Come tax season, is there anything special that must be done with the distributions for the NEOS ETFs like SPYI? Like would I need a tax guy to figure it out or a place like Schwab would automatically know how to categorize the distributions?
  15. Lol. This was on the other day, and I couldn't change the channel. Now my 8 year old walks around the house saying "I <clap> DENTICAL!" I agree with several of the above, and I'll add the "...Has Fallen" trilogy. It's a guilty pleasure and I can't seem to change the channel when it comes on. Also Top Gun Maverick. And Shooter.
  16. Good shit. I'm partial to Emerald Lake over Lake Irwin, but Emerald is a bit harder to get to due to the road getting there. Irwin is definitely larger and has a bit more to offer, but the scenery and tranquility of Emerald is a happy place for me. Glad you had a good CB experience. Not sure what your timeframe is for getting home, and actually I have no idea where you live, but I prefer going back to Austin via Alamosa. You avoid Monarch Pass. But added benefit is you pass by the Great Sand Dunes. Its worth adding a day to the trip home to go. Your kids will love it. Just get up early and go before it gets too hot.
  17. i love them trying to blow out the flames like it's a fucking birthday cake.
  18. Reviews are coming back overwhelmingly positive.
  19. Snodgrass was my morning routine with my dog for 3 weeks earlier this summer. I was working, so I'd get up and walk with him up to the trailhead and then usually time about 30 min before I had to turn around to make it back in time for a 745am meeting. I know exactly where that picture was taken on Teddy's Loop. Things have gotten a LOT dryer in the 2 weeks we've been home. With 2 littles, I recommend driving out Slate River Rd. to Gunsight Bridge. Fun area to fart around in the water and walk around. Or get up early and drive out to the Lower Loop Trailhead as far as you can go and walk Lower Loop. Easy for little ones. Another recommendation is driving just past Gothic Townsite and hiking Judd Falls. Go early. It's quite easy, which makes it popular. But the kids will like it. If you have bikes, they may like the Skate Park over by the Nordic Center. There's an area that little kids on bikes or balance bikes would like to ride around. There's a really cool bowl that adults and my 11 and 14 year old love as well (and Dad).
  20. If you're there for a few days, there's a a Wednesday concert at the base.
  21. Gas station attendant? That's an odd thing to call a cashier.
  22. We got a nice little shower in Driftwood in the late afternoon yesterday. 10 min of really hard rain followed by about 10min of light rain. It immediately cooled everything off.
  23. You'll have to excuse me...I'm a little slow. You're not saying Jimbo was stupid to take the Aggy job are you? Because from where I'm standing, that was brilliant.
