For most of the health care majors there is a saying: if you think it's hard getting in, try getting out. You gotta find the right balance. Don't go for an easy major that boosts your stats but doesn't prepare you for the day in day out of the program and don't go for a hard major that prepares you for learning medicine but doesn't get you in the door because your stats are trash. My wife rounds with a geriatric medicine physician who was an accountant. Dude is really smart, very evidence based and has no interest in anecdotal stories when treating patients. My family doc is very thorough and was a music major at Tulane.
Look I'm not one of those "voters should publish and justify their ballot" freaks like they have in baseball and I get it that the Maxwell Club is much different from the Heisman Trust and its voters BUT I have to wonder how the Heisman runner up wasn't even a finalist for the Maxwell Award.
Trump can't unilaterally reschedule marijuana but he can direct the DEA to do it through administrative hearing, public comment, publishing in the federal register, etc. Lots of time will be needed to deal with this because an overnight change would mean a nationwide shutdown of dispensaries due to lack of state and federal licensure.
This is fraud. What else needs to be said? This is not a playoff, it's a bullshit invitational ran by a committee fueled by Ensure. There is no way this format remains the same next year. No fucking way.
I wonder if this is somehow related to Hong Kong's upcoming elections. It was just a few years ago they banned and arrested all pro-democracy candidates and made it so only those aligned with Beijing could run for office.
In retrospect it's crazy to think how easy this victory was last night despite the multiple attempts by the refs to rig this game for gamblers. How can the committee watch this game and think aggy deserves to be in the playoffs?
