  1. Have you had the habanero-grapefruit? It's really solid. Marie Sharp's has a special 16-sauce bundle for $82. It includes one I haven't heard of called Red Hornet that's 4 times hotter than their next hottest sauce. https://mariesharpsusa.com/apps/bundles/bundle/108612
  2. Case only speaks frontier gibberish. Nobody can understand what he says anyway.
  3. If you can fog a mirror with your nose and not just your mouth, you’re admitted to the honors college.
  4. NCAA pole vault champ and co-indoor record holder (6.00m) Sondre Guttormsen is grad transferring to Texas to finish out his college career. He was also the European indoor champ (for Norway) a week before winning NCAAs. Sounds like he will finish this outdoor season a Princeton. https://trackandfieldnews.com/sondre-guttormsens-flights-to-6-meters/
  5. The viewership for Mando has plummeted so I guess most haven’t kept watching.

I don’t know what Zardes you are watching but “high energy” isn’t a description I would use.
  7. If my math is correct, that’s $2,000 per household that will be added to your electric bill. Sounds like a small price to pay for freedom.
  8. The very first portable AISD bought is still in use at my kid’s school. It was installed sometime in the 60s.
  9. A Small World can handle 5,000 riders an hour. Boobert says hold her lube.
  10. The first time was with an aggy measuring tape. 3” is marked as 6” to impress the milkmen.
  11. Always do the math for your particular flight. I bought some points at 40% off a while back only so I could extend my existing point to purchase a flight. With the "40% discount", it saved me like $6 over paying cash.
  12. I don't think you can take the golf carts off the palace property. I only saw them in the gardens and there weren't that many of them. I probably only saw a dozen total.
  13. The "resort university" arms race is definitely a factor that is unique to US universities. It'd be interesting to see how much is spent on lifestyle instead of academics and basic dormitory housing by universities.
  14. Yeah, that's why I added the disclaimer. It was on March 9th. I did email my city council member to clarify what it was and was sent this: https://services.austintexas.gov/edims/document.cfm?id=404051 The info going around was that they were going to apply that to all the Burnet and Lamar bus stops as well and that threw my 'hood into a tailspin. The memo does specifically state it is for rail stops only.
  15. Isn’t that Guatemalan slang for pussy licker?
  16. Too many guns? Sounds like barely enough freedom to me.
  17. I had PF severe pain in my right heel and knee for years. It had gotten so bad, I could barely walk. I started wearing Birkenstocks in the house (bare foot is bad) and replaced all insoles with the Cadence EX model. 100% of the pain went away in 2-3 months. For inserts, make sure you get fitted at store that specializes in foot problems. I went to In Step but Carvel is also good. Turns out that even though I wear a 11.5 shoe, I needed a 10.5 insole because of my high arch. I would’ve bought the wrong size and wondered why it didn’t work. My wife also swears by the different stretches and does them every morning.
  18. Shazam 2. If you liked the first one, it’s more of the same. Fast paced, simple plot, pretty fun. Mary has developed some nice fun bags in the past couple of years. Taste the rainbow, mother fuckers!
  19. A couple of weeks ago, city council passed a plan that allows only multi family construction within a half mile radius of the existing and proposed rail stops, overriding existing residential zoning. It was a big deal in my hood (Allandale) because the understanding of the plan is that any existing single family homes can’t be sold as single family homes in the future to force density in these locations. I don’t know how much of that explanation is true or just a bad NIMBY interpretation.
  20. The surly overlords only give each connection .1mb on their end. Tree fiddy doesn’t buy much bandwidth nowadays.
  21. It’s anecdotal but from what I’ve seen, a very large percentage of tech product managers, sales, client services, and the like are liberal arts degrees instead of business or STEM.
