same "Sergeant at Arms" guy that was going to drag Eric Holder in front of this same shit.

The word "Russia" came up almost never today...this-this is now about (actually has always been about) a bunch of butthurt "all in" libtards who are hoping to scratch out some sort of something somehow out of the pot they just put their entire stack into.

Yeah...those 19 pages that Barr didn't release as quickly as you wanted him to, which are now completely released, is now somehow the demonstration of an impeachable offense for both he and the President.

Please proceed with this moronic "strategy"...in the face of all common sense.

not sure if the "turn those machines back on" meme is more appropriate here than the "Charlie Brown kicking the football meme" is here.

either way, enjoy  4 more years of this dickhead and probably his daughter winning after that.

and it's YOU.....YOU are doing it again.

for all those that don't get that the red baseball cap guys are not the people winning this for Trump, just look at the above two posts....that very bullshit is NOT what the majority of this country wants, and instead of self-reflecting that you may have fucked up and need to strategically pivot....you are doubling down and hoping that doing the same thing over and over again is now somehow sane.

We’re rapidly approaching the point where a literal war couldn’t distract from this scandal.

triggered!

Study Cicero and the concept of a Republic.   Hillary lost by the rules, (well, as much as she couldn't control the superdelegates anymore)...and you want to change the rules.

Sorry you live in a Republic which elects their leaders this way, and your beast lost....but you don't get to change the rules until your beast wins.

but there was never anything here except for your butthurt over the general election....and you had zero compunction about ruining the country while this bullshit investigation was the story, non-stop, for two years.

nice try, tho....you still lose and I can see advocating for "literal war" to salve the gash delivered to you between your legs and your eyebrows.

the electoral majority sure as fuck does. and, sorry, we elect our government upon *gasp* the electoral majority.

You elected a political novice and this is what you get. A ranting neophyte who proudly stomps into one political and legal bear trap after another.

So you can boast about the president and you can taunt those whose candidate lost. And you can argue policy.

But you can't argue that this whole political quagmire is entirely a result of Trump's own doing. He surrounded himself with crooks, many of whom are already convicted, charged, or facing charges, and he laid down with every dog he could find. And put them in positions of leadership.

So you don't get to whine about the fleas

Not for president we don't. We choose electors. The majority of the country wanted Hillary Clinton.

The constitution of the ROMAN republic gave the whole power to the people, without allowing a negative voice either to the nobility or consuls. This unbounded power they possessed in a collective, not in a representative body. The consequences were: When the people, by success and conquest, had become very numerous, and had spread themselves to a great distance from the capital, the city-tribes, though the most contemptible, carried almost every vote: They were, therefore, most cajoled by every one that affected popularity: They were supported in idleness by the general distribution of corn, and by particular bribes, which they received from almost every candidate: By this means, they became every day more licentious, and the CAMPUS MARTIUS was a perpetual scene of tumult and sedition: Armed slaves were introduced among these rascally citizens; so that the whole government fell into anarchy, and the greatest happiness, which the ROMANS could look for, was the despotic power of the CAESARS. Such are the effects of democracy without a representative.

We elected dotard to fall into anarchy. So there you go. You're a traitor. Anyone who continues to support this president is a traitor. I still give a damn about the truth and a future for my kids, and I'm not going to forget what this party did to jeopardize both. So go fuck yourself.

I would still like to see the original four page letter dictated from Trump to Stephen Miller to fire Comey.  It seems like a large piece of evidence we still haven’t seen despite being referenced multiple times in the Mueller Report.

Our President has no idea what a Cicero is, and never has tried their pizza. He thinks he might have banged a couple of Ciceroes in the 80’s. But, he’ll be sure to consider Cicero for the Fed.

Like that poster who had dementia, sometimes ignoring a poster's rants is the humane thing to do.  If you wouldn't argue with a mentally ill person on the street, it's probably not worth doing here.

Literally volumes of this explanation of why and how a direct democracy is unsustainable are in print and ready for study, even these words, almost in Hume's exact plagiarized order, exist, yet much like Jefferson "word for worded" John Locke in the Declaration... you will ignore inconvenient history... hell... not even study it... and insist upon changing the rules because you lost... again.

Well, the quote is from David Hume. If you want to post Cicero, be my guest.

I did.. I wrote of Cicero in the post preceding.. that you are not capable of simple research is not my responsibility

The problem is that the line is buried in a 400-page report.  Mueller needs to say this as part of a concise sound bite that can be blasted on the news channels / twitter repeatedly until it the Fox News crowd can no longer ignore it.

Well, he did try to summarize and he did get headed off at the pass.  Look, I don't think anybody is going to accuse Mueller of being a savvy political animal, but within his world view, it seems pretty apparent he tried to do what was right every step of the way.  He just got outfoxed by his boss.  It happens.

Ahem. Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt, but are we just going to overlook what is possibly the damning thing we learned today?

Attorney General William Barr said Wednesday that he was not familiar with the Senate’s bipartisan effort to enhance the security of election systems ahead of 2020.

Barr had not yet returned to the Department of Justice when, last year, the Senate Rules and Administration Committee abruptly cancelled a markup of a bipartisan bill known as the Secure Elections Act.

The legislation crafted by Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Lankford and Minnesota Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar seeks to require state election officials to conduct audits following elections, as well as to establish paper ballot backup systems.

“The White House, just as we were on the verge of getting a markup in the Rules Committee, getting it to the floor where I think we would get the vast majority of senators, the White House made calls to stop this,” Klobuchar said at the hearing, recalling the events of August 2018.

House needs to start jailing these corrupt mother fuckers for non-compliance and obstruction. Hold them indefinitely until they relent. Nothing less will even blip the radar for these traitors, so Democrats need to start blotting our the skies and dropping firebombs.

LOL at TTom returning from (on) his latest bender and trying to suddenly drop a coherent paragraph on a crowd that knows him as being wholly incapable of doing so.

Fair enough, but if Mueller is allowed to testify, he needs to realize what needs to be done to undo the damage that Barr has caused.  Drop all the nuanced, conditional, overly reasoned statements and just drop some bombs that even the idiots will understand.
