Arsenal 2022-23: All Or Nothing

Sigh.

Elneny picked up a "significant" injury Saturday and, though still being assessed, is expected to miss and "extended" period of time.  With Thomas "Part-TIme" already carrying a knock, we need another MF before the window closes.  Badly, especially with the fixture list about to ramp up and key EPL matches in that mix. Xhaka plays better with a DM next along side him, and Sambi is still way too green.

Allegedly, Elneny's knee is better than initially feared, but he's missing weeks instead of months.  Partey is out at least a few weeks (same injury as he had last year).  Really need a CM before the window closes. Here's hoping Edu's barbecue is lit.

Villa today. LFG.

I don’t like being up 1-0 when it should be 3-0. Leaves too much of an opening if we come out looking like shit.

Fucking this. We are WAY too profligate in front of goal. Need to start burying good chances or it’s gonna cost is vs good sides.

so that's a booking for odegaard, but what happened to saka is nothing? how?

EPL officiating is so inconsistent. CFB-level bad.

Job done, three points. But...

  • Lets pray Odegaard isn't going to miss any time. Really can't afford to lose him with our MF waaaay too injury hit for matchweek 5.
  • We find our finishing edge and kill off matches.  Should have been 3-nil at half.
  • Edu barbecues us up a signing before the window closes.

Still top of the league bitches! COYG!!!

If he can repeatedly score inswingers from corner kicks where we box out the GK like Shaq boxing out Duncan, then I approve of this move.

Joke aside, we desperately needed another MF. Solid pickup if it goes through.

Loads of loans and dudes leaving on a free, very few sales the past few years.  Crazy to think that City got Haaland for a ~ net £6m after selling us Gabriel Jesus.
