2s are going to have to hold this lead to force a 3rd

4s need to pick it up and not let Cal force a 3rd, but not looking good there

Didn’t want to post before it was over, but tomorrow is moved up 2 hours due to weather, so 10 am now against the Froggies. We won’t win, but oh well.

Playing with house money now. It will be a good learning experience.

Yep.  We got our expected one win, which is what we needed to achieve our projected Director's Cup points for BVB. Was almost an underperformance.

Still no sight of Goth chick on Boise St.
I assume she only plays the night matches.

She doesn't typically travel, but was at their conference championship.

So we staved off being the only first round upset. Everyone else won 3-0, except for a 3-1 win and our 3-2 win

Late to the party here so forgive me because I’m sure this information is upthread….

1.  How much if any crossover is there on this team and our full VB team?

2. Is this our coach’s 1st year or second? I know we plucked him away from UCLA

Year 3

No longer any crossover - year 1 and 2, there was, but he recruited this roster for 2025

What prevents you from sending your number 1s against 5s and 2s against 4s?

Mostly integrity. I believe there's a way to challenge if an opponent is stacking the courts in an advantageous way, but I don't know how that's hashed out with the officials.

I know NCAA tennis also has that and you can protest if you think the other team is stacking.  @perfectchaos007 knows

Yes- there's a fine and it gets increasingly bigger with each infraction with team tennis

And in TCU’s case last year, it resulted in a default from the Big12 championships. I’m not sure if a team can be defaulted in beach for stacking but you can in tennis
