You're telling me a guy who is 19, came back from an Achilles tear, and is still learning to play at a high level isn't on the same trajectory as a 5* like Baxter when healthy, and more like Wisner learning as he goes? Except Wisner had no choice because, you know, Blue can't run inside and he fumbles, Gibson was a frosh who kept fumbling, our transfer RB lost his eye, Baxter was injured with multiple ligament tears, and Clark had the Achilles tear.

Forget it spider2ybanana, it's Chinatown satyanash.

He's never been a good outside zone RB like Wisner. I think with us shifting back to more OZ during the RRS the writing was on the wall.

More to the point, Tashard Choice's RB haul in the 2024 class is looking very underwhelming. Gibson is gone and Clark still can't block to save his life.

Clark is functionally a true freshman coming off an achilles tear but okay.

Seems like Simon getting more carries sent a clear message to Gibson that his services here are no longer needed.   I wish him well because he never seemed to lack in effort or desire to do well for the good guys (caveat that as long as he doesn't end up at ou/a&m).  South Florida seems like a good landing spot for him.

We have a proven track record of recruiting running backs who fumble.

It is crazy how we are able to identify, recruit, and sign running backs who can carry on the tradition.

Even crazier? We're also tied for the most Doak winners.

It's almost like they all do it to a degree and Texas is the team you pay the most attention to

Is Sark channeling his inner Jimmy Johnson (kicking Swervin Curvin off the team) sending a message to team by getting rid of Gibson and Stone mid-season.

Unless either killed 5 hookers, I doubt it. He probably just had a sit down with them and kept it real.

He has always had a policy of "if you decide to enter the portal, you are no longer a part of this team." He's just keeping his policy in place.
